In the story “Knots in my yoyo string” by Jerry Spinelli. Jerry is revealed as a perfectionist through his interactions with anything in general. First the author reveals Jerry as a perfectionist when he said “I kept my locker neat at all times”. Jerry is a perfectionist since most kids already have messy locker. Next the author reveals Jerry as a perfectionist when the narrator says "No green sky or red grass for me”. Jerry is a perfectionist because all kids in their life had at least discolor once. Last the author reveals jerry as a perfectionist when the narrator says" I did not make mistakes.” Jerry is a perfectionist because he said he did not make mistakes . In conclusion the reader can tell that Jerry is a perfectionist.
