Counselor received the report back from the 2 week work adjustment that Kyrstin participated in from 8/7/17-8/16/17. Kyrstin did her assessment at TJ Maxx where she was responsible for cleaning mirrors and windows, straightening shoes, wiping down and re-organizing shelves, washing picture frames, re-arranging pots and pants, and stocking merchandise.

During the work adjustment, Kyrstin was scored in the following areas: attendance, planning/prioritizing, producing quality work without prompts, communicating professionally and appropriately, displaying appropriate problem solving skills, refraining from being overly social, maintain good hygiene, and accepting and incorporating constructive criticism.

On the first day, she was not sure where to start organizing the shoes and the coach had to show her where to start. Even after showing her, she still was very unorganized and needed a lot of direction. On the second day, she was able to follow a pattern, however on the third day she needed a lot of assistance and on the fourth day she was organized again. During the second week, she planned, prioritized, and completed her work efficiently with little to no assistance. 71%

Producing quality work without prompts: On the first day, she did well with cleaning the mirrors and jewelry counter, however she had difficulty remembering where to put shores. On the second, third, and fourth days, her quality improved. On the fifth day, her quality continued to improve and the manager even complimented her work. On the sixth, day she had some trouble organizing picture frames, but became familiar with the tasks once learning them. 71%

Communication: Kyrstin remained professional throughout the assessment. she had appropriate conversations, was friendly, polite, and respectful. She stayed focused and avoided talking while working.
