...Building leadership Capacity One of the first lessons where I have learned about the concept of the character and proper path for me in the future was a single business experience from my mother who also worked her entire career in pharmaceutical industry. This anecdote is one of the things that defined me and I still say that this story is a single most important moment where I understood how to behave in the future. My mom worked in a team of 5 people and was most experienced, team had their boss who was managing everyday activities and at one point new young women was employed and came to the team. She was unexperienced and new but very motivated and ambitious. Every member of the team except my mom find this new colleague to be nuisance and possible threat or competition so everyone was very rude to her and did not provide and support, not even their boss whose job this actually was. So my mom at that point took the role of the leader, she is took on herself to help and teach her because it was very complex job. She stayed after work every day to support and coach this new colleague, guide her because she understood that it was imperative for the new girl to become useful member of the team as soon as possible and that this will have great impact on performance of whole team.
