Learning team paper PSY/300

1) what are the teams ground rules and guidelines: my expectation for the team members is to first respect, each other we are adults, and be kind to one another nobody knows what the other person is going through, is that having a rough week or if they have a special child, try to communicate as soon as you get text from any of the team members, is by communication that you can show that you are here pulling your weight and nobody has to worry about doing anybody else’s work. 2) Expectation for time management and involvement: I would think that it will go without saying that each and every person, on our team contributes they share of the work that’s is to be done, and for it to be on time so at least one person can review it, edit it, and then produce the final copy, and I would also think that if we ever need to have face-to-face everybody in the team will be available at the same time or would try make an effort at least. 3) Ensuring fair and even contribution and collaboration what strategy will you use to ensure that all team members are contributing and collaborating promptly? I really don’t think that we have to use any strategy everybody on the team as an adult, not a child so I would think they did not have to make a plan strategize, so that team member can contribute and corroborate with the other the team members I think that goes without saying that if this should be a problem person in the team, I believe the one person should take whoever the problem is and tell them the truth is respectfully and also is honestly as you can. Not that everybody will get Gang up on this one person. 4) I truly believe the only thing they make sure learning team experience different from the past and better than the past is by having an open line of communication, by everybody respecting everybody else and if you have something on your mind please let the person know and don’t let her stay there for longer time. If you let it staying there the madder you’ll get and the worse. it will affect the whole team and that will not benefit anyone on the team.

...Learning Team Debate Paper BCOM/275 February 11, 2013 Should parents be held responsible for their minor children’s criminal behavior? In this paper, Learning Team C will be discussing "Should parents be held responsible for their minor children's criminal behavior?" Parents should not be held any more accountable for the crimes of their children than children should be held responsible for the crimes of their parents. It does not make any sense to discipline one for the misconducts of the other. Nurturing is not a strict skill. Youngsters are not made of robots. Therefore, there is no particular method or outline for raising one’s children, who will promise that the child will develop up to be an accomplished resident that is a benefit to the public. For one artless purpose people who also include children have a free will. Children are less likely to participate in criminal crimes. If they have a productive parent at home taking care of him or her. What children need at home is love, affection, comfort, and positive reenactment. Parents can do any and everything correctly but if the child is rebellion it is nothing the parents can do. Parents can seek outside help to help for their rebellious child. Most children act out because of the way they were raise up, or the people they associate with. Most children who associate him or her with rebellious children tend to act out as his or her surroundings do. Children not held accountable for their actions will...

...Should Marijuana be Legalized? BCOM/275 November 26, 2012 Should marijuana be legalized? Throughout the years, the topic should marijuana be legalized is often heavily debated.  For many years the use of marijuana was forbidden and outlawed in the United States, but in more recent years marijuana seems to be becoming accepted. Scientist has found many useful applications for marijuana. Recently, here in the United States, many states have approved legislation for marijuana for medical purposes. Most recently, two states Colorado and Washington have passed referendums that will allow people over the age of 21 recreational use of marijuana without the penalty of a criminal offense. These two states will oversee the use of marijuana for its constituents similar to how alcohol is controlled. Whereas, the government at the state level in Colorado and Washington is in favor for the legalization and passed legislation for the legalization of marijuana, the federal government has not. This causes legal, moral, and ethical issues and begs that questions; should marijuana be legalized? Pros of Legalization One benefit of the legalization of marijuana would be the ability for state and local governments to tax the legal production and sale of it. Currently, because marijuana is illegal the sale of it is not taxed so the local, state, and federal governments do not reap any of the benefits of this “$10.5 billion dollar industry” (Miron, 2005, p.4). In a report written by Jeffrey A....

The issue that was presented in the article “Mismanaged layoffs can go horribly wrong” was companies and their management teams are not able to layoff or terminate an employee or employees in the appropriate way. The author of the article feels as management is not able to handle these types of situations in a professional manner. Members of management often have great people skills, which are either something they were born with, or something they have learned throughout their lifetime, but when faced with the challenging situation of letting an employee go they are unable to say the right things. With proper training of these tough situations, managers will be able to handle these types of situations in a more professional manner.
