Anna Fitzgerald was brought into the world as a saviour sister at the informal suggestion of Kate's doctor, Dr. Chance as the suggestion from the doctor would have been a violation of legal and medical ethics. Kate who is Anna’s older sister, suffers from acute promyelocytic leukaemia, their parents force Anna to donate compatible organs, blood and tissue in order to keep her sister alive. All their family members tell about how Kate’s illness has affected them personally. As Kate turns 15, she started to loss her kidney. As this happen, Anna knows that she will be forced by her parents to donate one of her kidneys to her elder sister, Kate. Anna realizes that she may be unable to be cheerleading, play soccer, or be a mother as what she wanted
