Lenovo Inc. Income Statement Analysis
In most Chinese people’s minds, Lenovo is the most famous computer brand. In the past few decades, Lenovo computer has become a lot of Chinese families’ first computer. Lenovo Inc. is a Chinese multinational computer technology company with headquarters in Beijing, China, and Morrisville, North Carolina, United States. It designs, develops, manufactures and sells personal computers, tablet computers, smartphones, workstations, servers, electronic storage devices, IT management software and smart televisions. In 2014, Lenovo was the world's largest personal computer vendor by unit sales. Since Lenovo acquired IBM’s personal computing division, Lenovo's influence becoming larger and larger. With the popularity of tablet devices, Lenovo is facing more opportunities and challenges. Lenovo also faces big security and integration challenges as it moves to integrate IBM's x86 server business now that it has finalized the $2.1 blockbuster deal. There are lots of questions that need to be answered to keep companies comfortable from migrating off the IBM platform.
