Recently, due to these limits, the school board came to the voters for a revenue limit override. This is basically the local people giving the district the ability to exceed revenue limit. To do this the board had to go to referendum, which the district did in April 2015. The referendum passed, allowing the cap to be pushed up to 1.3 million dollars a year for three years.
