The fairy tale that I read and watched was Little Brier-Rose (Maleficent). The written version of Maleficent (Little Brier-Rose), by the Grimm Brothers, greatly differs from the 2014 Disney movie version. Throughout the film/ story, small but powerful changes are made in the characters and the plot of Maleficent and Little Brier-Rose. This includes the way that Aurora has the curse placed on her, the obstacles and new characters that are met on the way to the rescue of Aurora.

In Little Brier-Rose, the story focused mainly on: Aurora (Little Brier-Rose), the king, the queen, and the prince. This allowed the story to be kept simple and to the point as there was not much time where the characters were able to be developed to have complex relationships. Another character that is crucial to the story is the thirteenth wise woman. This is because, she was the one who put the curse on Little Brier-Rose. She did this to get revenge on the royal family for not inviting her to the event. In Maleficent, more characters were focused on, such as: Maleficent, Stefan, the Flower Pixies, Aurora, Diaval, and Prince Phillip. Each character was more complex than in Little Brier-Rose, and played a more crucial part in the story. Most of the main characters of Maleficent were introduced to the audience earlier on in the movie. As the movie progressed, these characters grew and were able to make the story more complex …show more content…
However, in Little Brier-Rose, gender roles were more apparent, “I am not afraid. I will go there and see the beautiful Little Brier-Rose.”(Grimm pg. 2). This has been included in the story to fit the culture of

Dear Doctor--Here is one of the most carefully hewn stones in the second course of the foundation of a literary edifice which I have slowly and laboriously constructed. Supernatural by Brother Branham

...Supernatural: The Life of William Branham Book 6: The Prophet and His Revelation 1960 – 1965 by Owen Jorgensen 1 Acknowledgments: In a project of this magnitude, it is understandable that I should owe many people a debt of gratitude for their help. First of all I want to thank Pearry Green for his vision, his encouragement and his efforts in publishing and distributing these books. I also want to thank Saundra Miles, David Buckley, Jay Weber, and the other people who spent many hours editing and proof reading the six manuscripts in this series. Their suggestions helped to make this a better book and a more accurate account of William Branham‘s life. Also, I want to thank Steven and Kathy Strooh, who put these books into audio format for all those people who would rather listen than read. I must certainly thank those people who have translated these books into their native languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Norwegian, Hindi, and many other languages. Supernatural: the Life of William Branham took me 17 years to complete. I was 34 when I started and 51 when I finished. To put that into perspective, my four children were in grade school when I began writing this biography. By the time I finished, three of my children were married and I had nine grandchildren. During the 17 years I worked on this project, my life had its ups and downs. I want to thank everyone who prayed for me during those 17 years. Finally I want to thank my four children—Benaiah...
