Louis Pastor was an artist who decided to change his life career and go into the study of Physics and Chemistry. Thanks to that decision Louis Pasteur created the vaccine for rabies. Pasteur worked in microbiology and worked with chickens and trying to prevent the spread of rabies and anthrax. He quickly changed from trying to prevent the transmission he commenced trying to prevent the disease itself. He then began testing sheep to develop a vaccination for anthrax. After success there he moved onto rabbits. He was examining a rabbit that had died from rabies. It was during those studies that he discovered the means to help men fight rabies.
