CSI Miami: “Triple Threat” Part 1:The Evidence and Crime Scene Wealthy real estate developer Dominic Whitford is shot dead during a party while his wife Ashley announces the opening of a new children's hospital. He falls off the balcony going straight through an ice sculpture killing him instantly. II. Describe the crime scene and the actions of the 1st response team: The team first questions Josh Brockner, Dominic's assistant, who informs them that Dominic had a few enemies, and it turns out the gun he was shot with belonged to one of them: Neil Massey, who claims his gun was stolen and offers an alibi, which checks out. A blood drop found in the bathroom where Dominic was shot matches his wife, Ashley, and she tells the CSIs she had a nosebleed in the bathroom shortly before giving her speech. She leaves her sunglasses in the interrogation room when she leaves they run after her to return them, only to see her getting into a car with a woman who looks just like her. When he runs the prints on the glasses, he learns that they aren't Ashley's. III. The role of the Forensic crime lab in this episode was that they knew one of the triplets was the killer, but to find out, they test the blood drop from the bathroom for antibodies. Africa, the CSIs know Kayla is their shooter because she had been to Africa just recently. V. As the episode progresses, the team interrogates Ashley and the woman with her­­her twin, Kayla Selby. Kayla posed as Ashley for the interrogation so that Ashley could be with her son, Noah. The women tells the team that Dominic didn't know Ashley had a twin, but the team discovers that Dominic had a secret of his own when they finds the medical condition of the man on the table doesn't match what's in Dominic's medical records, and evidence of plastic surgery on the man's face reveals he has been surgically altered to look like Dominic. Dominic's assistant, Josh, admits to the CSIs that the dead man is actually Greg Ramsey, a man Dominic hired to pretend to be him at social functions. Josh points the CSIs to the construction site where Dominic is and the team finds him­­along with the buried body of a young woman. They then ID the dead woman as Mia Graham, Dominic's former assistant, and fingerprint evidence reveals that Josh, Dominic's new assistant is in fact her killer. The CSIs decide to hold off on telling Ashley that her husband is alive, and turn back to Neil Massey, whom they learn once shot at Dominic and Ashley during Ashley's pregnancy, forcing Ashley to have a C­section. Neil claims Ashley and her twin swindled him out of money. They confront Ashley and Kayla who insist that Neil is obsessed with Ashley. But the team finds a discrepancy in their story: Ashley doesn't have a C­section scar and Kayla was in Africa during Ashley's pregnancy. Out comes another twin and the team is shocked with a third identical woman, Beth, who is Noah's mother. Team knows one of the women is the killer, and finds out by testing the blood drop from the bathroom for antibodies. When it's found to have antibodies for infectious diseases native to Africa, the CSIs know Kayla is their shooter. But all three conspired to produce a baby and kill Dominic for his money, and all are arrested. Natalia tells them Dominic is in fact alive and will be raising Noah. Part 2:The Legal System of CSI Miami I. In this episode of CSI Miami “Triple threat”, the specific laws that were broken were Josh Brockner murdering Dominic’s original assistant Mia Graham, Neil Massey doing attempted murder which is a crime, and of course the real crime, the murder of “Dominic Whitford”, actually Greg Ramsey, Dominic’s look a like by one of the triplets Kayla Selba. All three of the triplets are convicted of the crime because they are guilty of an organized murder, which is a federal crime. Part 3: The Final Outcome of the Crime Scene Investigation

I. The final outcome of this crime scene investigation was that three triplets had planned to kill a Dominic Whitford look a like, Greg Ramsey for his money, which the plan did work, but they were all found guilty of the murder of Greg Ramsey. They were arrested and thrown into prison. So basically they got cheated out of their own plan, and failed to achieve what they were really trying to do. The real Dominic Whitford took full custody of one of the triplet’s son, Beth, also his son, Noah Whitford. II. I believe that the outcome was fair and just. Though not all three actually killed Mr. Greg Ramsey all three of the triplets still took part of the crime that occurred at the event, so all three of the girls should be punished. The team of investigators had examined the crime scene very carefully, finding fingerprints of many people who were not even at the event, and blood samples of whom you would suspect of being a suspect of the crime. Each time something came up they would examine that detain of the crime carefully to see where it fits in with the case, such as why Dominic’s look a like Greg Ramsey had surgery scars around his face, and why Ashley, one of the triplets did not have a scar from her C­section. They also talked to each suspects whose DNA or fingerprinting appeared during the investigation In the end the end they successfully found out the murderer or in this case the murderers and closed the case. III. If I could rewrite this episode I don’t think I would. I actually loved this episode. It was very interesting at had a lot of perks and so much things that came up. To me this was the perfect crime. But if I had to change the episode around, I would remove the other crimes that had occurred in the episode. I just feel like it was irrelevant to the whole crime and what occurred in the episode.
