Introduction
The “Miller” family has its great share of similarities and differences within 3 generations. We like to define our generations by at least 20 years. I haven’t really talked to anybody in my family who was born before the 1950’s so I defined within the 1950’s-2010. The 1950’s was my grandparent’s generation, 1970’s was my parents’ generation, and the 1990’s was the start of my generation. The Miller family is mainly based in the states of Georgia and Florida, with the majority residing in the state of Georgia.
Similarities
The Miller families have had some similarities throughout the years. All of the Miller’s valued and took education seriously. In all the generations whooping was a constant presence in all of our lives as a form of discipline. Sports were also a constant within the boys between the 1970’s-2010, with the sport of football being the predominant sport. Also the value of hard work was a constant of our generations, the men and women held jobs and stayed on their jobs for long years. All the generations also eat seafood and love to have old fashioned cook fests.
Differences
The Miller family also has its good share of differences as well. First religion involvement was a major component in the earlier generations, but in my generations religion involvement faded and was not a prominent. People of our earlier generations attended church every Sunday, as the years went on church involvement was not big. Also in my generation taking away technology was more of a discipline of choice than a whooping, which was the main choice of discipline of discipline. The earlier generations was a lot more family oriented than my generation, my generation our family members rarely hung out together, in the earlier generations they was always together and really enjoyed each other’s company.
Cohort effects Cohort effects are the effects that occur when people that are born and raised at a certain time has very similar experiences that make that group stand out among others (Heffner). The study of Cohort effects is a very important part of social science studies research. Cohort effects are study that tries to show strong or a lack of characteristics that is shared within certain periods of time. Cohort effects are often times research when studies change over a certain period of time. Often times are often times triggered by certain events that happen in the world (Atingdui, 2011). In the 1950-1970’s the presence of racial tension may have caused the parent of that generation to do certain practices. 1970-1990’s the emphasis of hard work and opportunity may have influenced the parenting practices. In my generation I think the increased use of technology and even social media may have influenced the parenting styles of my parents of other parents in my generation.

Reason for bottling water into glass bottles is it is eco-friendly and eliminates toxins from leaching into the water. There is no after taste, therefore, the ‘pure’ in pure mountain water remains true. According to the website BeCause Water (2014), before plastic, glass was used to store and ship materials. The trade-off for using glass is its breakability ( Possible name of brand is “WaterBlue,” to keep in touch with the president’s desire to incorporate the Blues musical style, then slightly tint the glass blue. · Place: Since the company is well-funded, distribution of the product should be nationwide and possibly sign a contract with a national retailer to promote. ...Module 1 Assignment 3 Jennifer Raley My client has agreed to substance abuse treatment for 30 days. Since we do not have a 30 day treatment center in our county, nor in our immediate area, I would have to refer her to OSF in Peoria, Illinois. Peoria is approximately one hour away and is located at: 5409 N. Knoxville Ave. 309-691-1055 I believe this is a good fit because the overall rating is a 4.0 (including environment, food, and success rate). Proctors substance abuse treatment center includes detox services, Dual Diagnoses Treatment, In and Outpatient services, treatment for behavior disorders, a sober living home, schooling, and private rooms. Since my client has a dog, this is a good choice because she will not have to stress or worry about rehoming or boarding her pet because Proctor is also pet friendly. My client does not have insurance, nor a lot of money, so this is a good choice because they accept payments. Proctor serves across the entire Illinois state reaching from central and southern Illinois. My second client is an elderly mother that was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. VE analyzes a function or method by asking such questions as: * What it is? * What does it do? * What must it do? * What does it cost? * What other material or method could be used to do the same job? * What would the alternate material or method cost? The essence of value engineering lies in the following four points: 1. Focus on Function Value engineering is the function oriented revision design, and hence facilitates deeper thinking. It is not cost reduction or cheapening process. 2. Step by Step approach Value Engineering is a step by step approach aimed at achieving desired function. The Mid Point Algorithm

To Stay or Go

...ENG Persuasive Essay To Move Out On My Own or Stay At Home? I live at home with my parents. I live for free, I pay no bills. The refrigerator is always full, my clothes are always clean as a matter of fact I constantly come home to find new clothing on my bed, compliments of my mom. I have an IPhone 6 Plus and have never paid a phone bill. I have my own bedroom with Direct TV and my own bathroom. I pay no rent. I have a 2015 Audi A3 with full insurance coverage, and I have never paid a penny towards either. What will become me of if I move out on my own? My so-called friends keep telling me I should move out, get a place on my own. In their opinion I should be out on my own, living my life and living it up. I have convinced myself to some degree that their opinion is right, that I am nineteen and I should be out on my own. That my parents have no right to tell me what to do, or how to live, or to expect anything from me. My parents with their rules to do well in college, maintain a part time job, stay our of trouble and to please keep my room clean are just way too much to expect from me. I should be able to screw up if I want, I tell myself, and have an attitude because I am a man now. I can treat people however I want. I believe that for now I need to get my act together. I need to realize what have and start appreciating all that my parents have given to me and continue to give. I must better assess the opinions and suggestions...

Battle of the 73rd Easting

...Battle of the 73rd Easting Headed due east on the afternoon of February 26, 1991, VII Corps was advancing with a front of four armored/mechanized divisions. In the center of this front, leading the way and conducting reconnaissance for the corps, was the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment (ACR). The 2nd ACR’s job was to locate the forward elements of the IRG divisions suspected to be in the area, fix them in place, then pass the heavy divisions of VIII Corps through their lines so that they could smash the elite Iraqi units with a single killing blow. It was a difficult assignment, made more so by the weather conditions. The winter of 1990/91 was one of the wettest on record in the Persian Gulf, and had been a major problem during the preceding six weeks of the Desert Storm air campaign. Now the wind was howling, causing a sandstorm that was grounding the Army’s aviation assets and limiting visibility to as little as a thousand meters. Air reconnaissance was limited mostly to signals intelligence data, which meant that finding where the IRG divisions were located, would be up to the 2nd ACR. Like the prairie horse soldiers of 150 years earlier, the troopers of the regiments would grope forward until they physically ran into the enemy, in this case the IRG Tawakalna Division. Generally known to be the best and most aggressive of the various IRG formations, Tawakalna was the unit that would bear the brunt of the coming battle with VII Corps. As 2nd ACR moved forward, the regiment’s...

Or, maybe, you have come across the optimized example floating-point FFT for this processor and would like to understand how it works and what the author had in mind when writing it. This application note tries to answer both questions by going through that FFT example and all its levels of optimization in detail. This example can be followed in developing other algorithms and code optimized for the ADSPTS201S processor. Generally, most algorithms have several levels of optimization, all of which are discussed in detail in this note. The first and most straightforward level of optimization is paralleling of instructions, as the processor architecture will allow. This is simple and boring. The second level of optimization is loop unrolling and software pipelining to achieve maximum parallelism and to avoid pipeline stalls. Although more complex than the simple parallelism of level one, this can be done in prescribed steps without good understanding...
