One of the challenges that a team may face while being in a learning team is one may not do their part. Sometimes, we will be faced with problems that will stop a team player from doing their part or we will be faced with a slacker on our team. When a team player is faced with a problem (in his or her life) we will try our best to help them, as much as we can. We will see how much of the assignment they have done and go from there. I don’t believe in penalizing someone who is trying and life hits them for one assignment but it’s different when it involves several assignments. We will help each other out when someone is struggling because we could be that one that is struggling for that assignment. It’s a different story when dealing with a slacker/ someone who is not participating at all on the assignments. We will try to get in contact with this person in different ways. We will call, email, and even try to text them but if we get no respond, we will have to bring it to the teacher attention. We will complete all of the assignment but it will be known that one of the team player has not participated in any of the assignments.
