Management Principles:

Management covers extensive topics which mostly educate us about the principles involved in ethics, leadership, staffing, culture and many other pertinent topics. I have gained the ground knowledge of representing myself as a leader especially when it comes to structure your staff and then controlling them. There are lot of principles to keep in mind when conducting a management in any company whether it is a small or big. Management in a company involves strategic planning
(long- term planning) and short term planning (short term planning).
There are sophisticated models and methods such as Gnatt Chart, critical path method and program evaluation and review technique to provide building block for site selection, facility layout and job design. Corporate companies explore their business around the globe therefore ethics and international part of this course explains us how to interact and be socially responsible towards the culture difference. There has been discussion about motivation and performance appraisal. How a quality management motivates its employees which induct to a better output.
One of the outstanding topic of the subject was how planning and organizing helps in a management. Planning and organizing is one of the important keynotes for a leader as well as an employee. SWOT
(strength, weakness, opportunities and threats) determines the relation with a competitor and hence helps in strategic planning of a firm. Study also reflects how human resource management plays a necessary functions in a management regarding job analysis, job preparations, and skills inventories. One of the surprising parts of the content was how stress relates to conflicts, and secondly many managers do not possess the ability to manage the diverse workforce today.
