...An entity is something about which we want to keep data. There are physical entities; something physical in our universe (e.g., a person, place, thing, etc.). There is also a logical entity; something non-physical (e.g., a relationship).Three examples of an entity could be a gun, Airline, and a camera. 2. What is a relationship? * A relationship is a logical connection between records from two or more tables. All relationships can be categorized as one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many. An example of a one-to-many relationship would be a pet store owner and the pets. The Pet Store owner (parent) represents the one, and the pets (children), represent the many. That is given the assumption that the store is owned by a single entity. The Pet Store can have many pets, but the pets can’t belong to many stores. * An example of a many-to-many is brand names-to-cookies. There are many brand names and there are many types of cookies. A brand can make many types of cookies and a cookie type can be made by many different brands. 3. What is an attribute? * An attribute is a property or characteristic of an entity. Three entities and their attributes are (A) gun (make, model), (B) airline (name, model), and (C) A camera (make, type). Part Two 3. What column or columns should be selected as the primary key to best meet the desired properties for a primary key in exhibit 2-17? * I chose the column labeled student id as having the best properties for being a......

...sure we are ready for anything that comes through the doors. As the morning went on, things were nice and quiet. Yes, I said it "Quiet". The word quiet is never to spoken out loud or even a thought in the ER. As soon as I sighed, it went off like a bomb the radio began to blare. Collier Blvd Medic 00 coming in with a male four month old unresponsive, in respiratory distress!!!!!!! I respond to the radio medic00 room 6 on arrival. In that moment everything changes. It was like slow motion but really you’re moving as fast and as efficiently as possible. We call respiratory, set up the room, get our equipment and then wait. It feels like an eternity until they arrive. Your mind wondering what happen to the child, and how long ago. So many things flood your mind at once. You can’t loose focus of what the facts are and what you are dealing with. The ambulance pulls in, the doors swing open medics are attending to the...

...could relate to so many things in the film. When I saw it for the third time in our Philosophy class, I tried to view it on a slightly more analytical and less affected manner (even though I couldn’t stop sudden hidden bursts of emotion) since I knew there were topics discussed by Morrie to Mitch which were covered by our discussions in Philosophy of the Human Person I. The last lessons taught by Morrie dealt with the fundamental yet often misunderstood or even feared things in life. One interesting thing in his discussions with Mitch was the line he repeatedly said: “If you know how to die, you’ll know how to live.” At first, it seemed to me as though it were contradictory to the phenomenological way of describing things – for how can one ever know how to die if he hasn’t experienced it yet? But after some reflection, I thought that perhaps Morrie, by saying “know how to die” meant that if we know that all our possibilities will end in the great even that death is (“know[ing] how to die”), we will strive to do our best daily – as if it were our last, as if we could hear that “bird on our shoulder.” I also liked Morrie’s emphasis on the importance of loving – for it is only in loving that we give ourselves freely to the other. And indeed, we must “love one another or die.” Ah, those words constantly ring in my head. I really saw myself in many personae in the film (sometimes the young Morrie, sometimes his father) but what’s important are the many lessons I’ve......

...curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching. A file named "Friends" was next to one marked "Friends I Have Betrayed." The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird. "Books I Have Read," "Lies I Have Told," "Comfort I Have Given," "Jokes I Have Laughed At." Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: "Things I've Yelled at My Brothers." Others I couldn't laugh at: "Things I Have Done in My Anger," "Things I Have Muttered Under My Breath at My Parents." I never ceased to be surprised by the contents. Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I hoped. I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my 20 years to write each of these thousands or even...

...Maybe In Another Universe, I Deserve You Gaby Dunn What if, in another universe, I deserve you? Hear me out. There’s this philosopher from the 1890s named William James, and he coined this theory about “the multiverse” which suggests that a hypothetical set of multiple universes comprises everything that can possibly exist simultaneously. Are you following? The entirety of space, time, matter and energy is all happening at once in different timelines: It’s the idea of parallel universes. Right? So okay, let’s presume the multiverse is real. Well then, maybe somewhere in those infinite universes is one, or several, where I deserve you. Maybe there’s a universe out there — happening now — where we end up together and when I close my eyes at night, I’m not dreaming the way a normal person would. Instead I’m seeing flashes of our lives in the multiverse. They’re not simple dreams because I miss you, right? They’re scientific, anachronistic visions. For instance: In this universe, I don’t want a family, but maybe in another, I’m more of the type to settle down. Maybe there’s a universe where you hold my hand while I give birth to our daughter in a white hospital room with pink flowers and fuzzy teddy bears on the window sill. Where we take family vacations and pose for dorky pictures in our neon bathing suits on the sands of a Florida beach. Where we curl up to watch a cheesy movie at the end of a long day in our big, green, suburban house once the kids have fallen......

...Christian Torrenegra Descriptive Essay If someone asked me my idea of a perfect place, it would be have to be Panama. Everyone has a comfortable place to escape to for relaxation. They go there when they need some time for themselves or just for fun. I spent most summers in panama. Memories of panama create a great image of my childhood, as well as my culture. enjoying the expericene of the beaches, nieghboorhood, and the city of panama. As kids we would all gather around and play games. Tag was always a favorite, but we would also swim until we were exhausted. Games would last until we could hear our parents yelling for us to return to the home for the diner, and even then most of us would wait a while longer until we were "in trouble" for not listening. The parents generally didn't mind because they knew we were having a great time. The years grew on and we still played, but more of the kids stoped playing or moved so the games were not exciting as when we played as kids. The the beach provided entertainment for everyone. Whether for the older folks relaxing in the sand and tannning or getting their feet just wet. young kids playing in the shallow water, where you can see to the bottom of the ocean. swiming with the small fish nipping at their feet. My generation prefered the wild side of the beach and we would swim out as far as we could, with crashing waves and the adrienline running the farther we went. Nothing can match the feeling after a good long day at......

...“ All days are not the same. Save for a rainy day. When you don’t work savings will work for you.” -M.K Soni. How does this pertain to seniors in high school and their financial futures? Can saving up now truly benefit you later on? Does saving up a great deal of your money save you later on down the road? What is saving, budgeting, and planning on your financial stability for your future? These are all questions I asked myself that I knew I would use in this essay. Through a set of thorough research, dedication, and thought I came up with one answer that is easy. Saving now will benefit all people, especially seniors in high school. It will help them have no worries on a variety of things, and you won’t have a hassle or worry financially. In this essay I will be giving examples, facts, and prove to you how I am right. Why start saving now, isn’t that what a job is for; providing money for my everyday life? Saving is a systematic plan for the expenditure of a usually fixed resource, such as money or time, during a given period. Imagine if you lost your job, and couldn’t pay your car payment, and/or had no money to buy your everyday needs. You start using a credit card, and end up spending so much that you cannot pay it back on time. What happens to that bill? It builds up interest, and creates an even bigger problem to begin with. Interest is a charge for a loan, usually a percentage of the amount loaned; an excess or bonus beyond what is expected or due. No one wants......

...Phase 5 IP Chrisdee Vega Colorado Technical Institute SCM210-1404B-06 Professor Chance December 22nd, 2014 Section I: Introduction Throughout the lifetime of our business, we have held steady in our sales. There is no reason why we cannot expand and grow our business. There will be some qualitative pros and cons during this transition but the outcome will be worth it. We are going to be adding distribution centers all over the world to aid in this growth. With a product like ours that has held up through the economy falling, we really have no limit to our success. In this transition, we are going to be able to provide timely deliveries to our customers. We will need to strategically place these locations to maximize our ability to deliver on time. We will also be able to provide these deliveries at a reasonable price, which we were struggling with in the past. When we were shipping from the East Coast all the way to the West Coast, we were losing money and making our customers unhappy with untimely deliveries and higher cost shipping. This may be an inconvenience to our suppliers having to ship to us internationally. If this is so, we will need to adjust pricing where we have our costs rise but more business for us means more business for them. In the end, this is going to make our customers happy, which will in turn; bring in more sales for all involved. We will face some obstacles in this transition. When we decide where to place these distribution......

...Section A – English assignment Summary of Bad stress, good stress. Texts 2 Bad Stress, Good Stress by Sacha Bonsor is an article about the issue of coping with stress. Sacha Bonsor writes about Piers Morgan and his aggressive attitude while being put under pressure and being stressed. Sacha Bonsor also writes that stress has become a too common word and that it is an overrated expression in the modern language, which she develops further with the raising statistics of stress from the UK economy. The article also mentions that those people who are able to cope with stress have high levels of what academics and psychologist call “psychological flexibility”. And for those people who cannot handle stress is it possible to teach them how to handle stress effectively. Clare Harris, a lecturer at the Praxis Centre for Developing Personal Effectiveness, says that the crux of the problem is to recognize stress that often manifests itself by taking out one’s tension on others. Yet a certain amount of tension is not only good for us but also vital to our well-being. Comment on the statement: “If you want to live long and healthily, don’t settle into routines” Routines can both be good for you and bad for you. You can say that a routine is like a schedule for your actions in life but you don’t always need to have schedules in your life. People will always make routines in their lives because it’s safe. When you have a routine in your life, you have a picture of what is going...

V sighed, sitting up and rolling over so he was on top of the younger, facing him with narrowed eyes. “It’s not nothing. I know it isn’t, just say it.” he said, and Jungkook bit his lip, hesitating. “I think everyone else is mad at me.” he said quietly, and V blinked. “Why would you think that?” he asked, earning a mere shrug. “Kookie.” he admonished, and the other groaned in defeat. “I don’t know. I just feel like they don’t like it when I ask questions and stuff.” he said, and V huffed. ...Hoolidays, A time everyone gets hyped up over, parents planning activities for the family to spend quality time with and school children ( as well as teachers) jumping for joy. Hello, waking up late, celebrating, goin for tuition and best of all, vacations! In myy case, a holiday I would never forget is a fruitful one I expereinced five years ago, where my family I spent six days in the land of K-Pop and ' kimchi '- Korea. Finally, after ages of waiting, our family arrived in beautiful Korea. Stepping out of the plane, we could feel the chilly weather to our bones. Never experiencing that kind of weather, my siblings and I were totally excited. Passing through immigration and baggage claim, we were talking animatedly about our new surroundings. Since we went with tour group, we knew we were in good hands. Incident number one. We were supposed to take a bus to check in at the hotel, as instructed. I guessed I was overeager and without thinking. I ran to a random bus and knocked on the door. The young bus driver opened the door and looked at me with a puzzled expression. He started asking me something in Korean, which of course I did not understand. I tried to reply in English, but before I could make the attempt, my father quickly apologized to the driver and walked me back to the tour group who was watching from afar, shaking with laughter. It turned out that the bus I was running to was not the bus we were supposed to take. I dismissed my burning cheeks...

...A Brief of Analysis of Rick and Morty The adventures and often misadventures of this grandson and grandpa duo along with their family members are a delight and often downright absurd to watch. There are moments of preposterous incidents that'll leave with a stupefied expression and then immediately sent you off into fits of laughter. It is a highly entertaining show, where their exploits cross over multiple universes and dimensions and often end up interacting with beings from another world, trying to catapult the series into the fringes of possible realms within comprehension. But it has the titular characters sharing a close bond while simultaneously possessing eccentric personalities to keep us intrigued; the other characters of the family are also slowly developing into their own unique identities and the whole lot of them makes for a weird family group. The crux of the humour remains the sheer absurd and often mind-boggling adventures they get themselves into and each one of them unique and taut with different dosages of effective comedy. The brilliant drunk scientist whose highly developed intelligence has him building incredible devices of extraordinary powers like that of his portal gun - used to create inter - dimensional portals to other universes and even timelines. He is a pessimistic atheist whose demeanour is that of a wisecracking jester but obstinately drunk and erratic. His relationship with his daughter ( Beth ) forces her to loan the garage to his various...
