Defining Marketing Marketing is what organizations use to reach our customers, interact with the customers and sell their products for business growth. Organizations performance and how well they do can be determined on how good their marketing team is. Marketing is not as simple as this description suggest on its own. The term "market," as a noun, refers to all the current and potential consumers or businesses that would use a company's products. Markets can be very diverse and consist of many characteristics. The business owner must locate viable markets for the company's products, apprise consumers of its wares and services and make products available to them. A market typically consists of a number of sub-groups that a company must identify as its key buyers. [ (Suttle, 1999-2014) ] Marketing is the management process through which goods and services move from concept to the customer. It includes the coordination of four elements called the 4 P's of marketing:
(1) Identification, selection and development of a product,
(2) Determination of its price,
(3) Selection of a distribution channel to reach the customer's place, and
(4) Development and implementation of a promotional strategy. [ (WebFinance Inc, 2014) ] Marketing is a very important aspect in business since it contributes greatly to the success of the organization. Production and distribution depend largely on marketing. It is the process of introducing and promoting the product or service into the market and encourages sales from the buying public. Sales refer to the act of buying or the actual transaction of customers...

...Marketing Paper Juan Rangel MKT/421 Marketing Paper Marketing has always played a large role on the choices that consumers make when deciding on the brands of products that are integrated into their life, but how important is marketing for an organization. Understanding marketing and its history aids when further analyzing the importance of marketing on different types of organizations. According to Bartels (1988) “The establishment of a market economy wrought marked changes in the social and economic structure. A new attitude toward business revolutionized the economy of the country and that revolutionary element was identified by the term “marketing.‟ Historical accounts of trade lead one to conclude that marketing has always existed (p. 1). The fact that marketing has always been present allows for a timeline of the evolvement of marketing and the affects of marketing on innovation and the standard of living. But this still leaves the question of, how should marketing be defined. What is marketing? “Marketing is the performance of activities that seek to accomplish an organization’s objectives by anticipating customer or client needs and directing a flow of need satisfying goods and services from producer to customer or client” (Perreault, Cannon, & McCarthy, 2011, p. 5). This just means that marketing may be applied to different types of organizations, such as for profit organizations and non-profit....

...The good news- Very small, weights very little, you even forget you have it on your ear after a while. Quality of sound is the best and loudest I have tried (I've tried a few sets). It is a no-hassle easy job to pair it with your phone. From talking to others, they assure me the quality of the microphone is excellent as they can hear loud and clear. It is JUST what any bluetooth seeker wants, right? WRONG! The bad news- After a few days (not weeks) I notice it looses connection frequently with my phone, and when it does you don't hear anything obviously and you think the call was lost, but no, it just went back to your handheld phone, then you start talking on your call and suddenly can not hear anything anymore and think you lost the call but no, it's just that the headset found connection again and is now working so you don't hear thru your handheld because is now on bluetooth, quite annoying but it doesn’t happen all the time. Then things got worse, now it won't turn off and pressing the main button for four seconds, or even 20, 30 or pick a number of seconds and the multifunction main button works erratically. Worse than that, it has developed a beeping sound, one beep every 3-6 seconds and sometimes two beeps, wether it is paired or not with the phone. At least I was relieved it happened within two weeks of purchase, surely it had a warranty, so I called Samsung customer service- First after checking with managers they tell me the problems is it is not compatible...

...1. Analyze the reasons why the Chinese government hired a Western public relations firm to work on the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The Chinese government felt it was necessary to hire a Western public relations firm for the 2008 Beijing Olympics in an effort to create a positive country image. Creating this positive image also included reducing human rights concerns that were being addressed by groups such as Darfur and Tibet. The public image of China could have negatively influenced international consumers’ attitudes and purchasing intentions for certain products and brands. The issues unfolding in China were going to be put under a microscope and magnified as media attention shifted to China because of the Olympics. The hot button issues called for more skilled and experienced public relations firms. Many believed that China did not deserve to host the 2008 Olympics. Lee (2010) wrote that supporters of World Peace advocated that China is contrary to the Olympic ideal, because there is no respect for individualism, the rule of law, or human rights and there is still evidence of summary executions taking place. China needed to change this image. The use of a well-received Olympic image would help to enhance and homogenize the perception of China on the international stage (Lee, 2010).
