Mediaplanet Marketing Plan MKT 535
Mark Dinglasan
11/20/11

Overview:
This marketing plan presents an overview of the Mediaplanet business model and recommended strategies that will strengthen the company's position and profitability in the North American market. Mediaplanet has been in the North American markets since 2008 and has expanded to six major offices in the United States and Canada. Although the company is international and continues to expand at an accelerated rate, it continues to operate under a start-up mentality and relies on rapid expansion and a large volume of reports published per quarter to generate profit.
The company does not have an HR, PR or Marketing Department. The overall company structure is very basic with the key individuals in the North American Operations being the CEO and CFO that work out of the New York office. From there, each office within the North American Operations possesses one managing director, at least two business development managers, and at least 5 publishers that are all under the CEO and CFO. No financial information regarding profitability and financial status were provided to this publisher for the purposes of this project.
The marketing plan will demonstrate how unique the Mediaplanet operations are as the owners of the company have created an international publishing company that operates under a very basic structure and operations. This plan will also serve to identify the weaknesses that are starting show little by little as Mediaplanet seeks to continue to expand its operations in North America. The company focuses on rapid expansion and maximizing profitability by utilizing a very unique product that many current clients and prospective customers are unfamiliar with. However, looking towards the future, this plan will show that there are basic initiatives that must be instituted in order for…...

Mini Business Marketing Plan - Nintendo Wii®

...Business Marketing Plan - Nintendo Wii® Abstract This final assignment for Marketing Management looks at all of the various marketing strategies and best practices for two companies that I have been studying over the past several weeks. Of the two companies and products that I have studied, Sony’s Playstation 3 and Nintendo’s Wii, I have chosen to complete my final paper in regards to the Wii game console. This paper will focus on one-to-one marketing strategies, customer information file development, information-intensive strategies, and customer personalization based on their best practices. Business Marketing Plan - Nintendo Wii® After completing several marketing assignments involving game system consoles from Sony and Nintendo, I have chosen to focus on the Nintendo Wii game console for the final project in this class. I have chosen Nintendo’s Wii because it is a game console that has gone beyond the traditional gaming platforms and segments. Nintendo has created a product that can be marketed to more than just the typical segment of male gamers between the ages of 13 and 35. Along with attracting families with games that the whole family can enjoy together, the Wii has moved into the health and fitness market with the Wii Fit. Nintendo has received awards for its Wii marketing strategy including the Grand Effie Award in 2008. Successful marketing plans need more than just widely available demographic population data and a hunch that a certain......

...Course Project: Creating the Marketing Plan Objectives | Introduction | Guidelines | Milestones | Grading Rubrics Objectives The Course Project gives students the opportunity to synthesize all of the concepts in the BUSN319 Marketing course by applying them to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for a new business, product, or service.
