Fourteen months of sheer dedication aimed at acquiring the chance of attending an independent school in order to better one’s future. This was never a guarantee, but Marvelous still took the opportunity and made the best out of it. He put in an insurmountable effort each day and managed to maintain his grades in school, while being an active member of his community. I remember the scorching hot summers we spent together in NJ SEEDS where, even under immense stress due to the constantly piling homework assignments, he still had his wit.
