When you go to a risky place it is your own selves fault if you get hurt. Honestly should you be doing this if you think you are going to need help? Do not be going and doing something if you think you might need someone to come and save you. How would you feel if you got a call saying that your husband or wife got killed saving someone else? Think about all the places you can go and not risk your life. When you go mountain climbing you have to have a helicopter to fly up and save you, a ranger to jump out and help you, and of course a mountain to save you off of. To begin, helicopters rescue people that are stuck in the mountains. People die in the mountains trying to save people that have serious injuries. In some cases they have to find a helicopter to help look for you. It does cost money to get into a helicopter for you to be found, but do you pay them? The calls get outrageous during the summer! It does cost money for these ranger to come and save you in a helicopter, yet they try to come and find you. At least give them thanks for what they do. ...Invictus by William E. Henley and the Documentary Evolution of a Criminal are very similar they share` similar, theme, tone, and in some sense order of events. These two have the same general theme; the theme is main life is tough, the decisions and things we do in life can put us in a dark place. Even though you are in that dark place you do not have to stay there, you can come out. Invictus is Latin for "invicta" meaning “unconquerable” or “undefeated”. In William Henley's poem, he describes someone with the qualities of being undefeated and unconquerable. Moreover, to me that also seem to describe Darius, as he was unwilling to be defeated or conquered he was "invicta". In the documentary by Darius Monroe, he used two literary elements that stood out to me the most. The first thing you see in the documentary is a young Darius being taken down the stairs out of his school handcuffed this was an example of foreshadowing. Later on in the movie, you will see Darius being under arrest. Immediately after that, you see a video of Darius' mother and stepfather before they got married that was an example of a flashback. The style of realism typically captures events as they happen, similar to how a person would view the events in real life. The portrayal should be depicted with a minimum of distortion. Realism attempts to preserve the idea that the world of film is unaltered, as if viewing the world through a window. A documentary film is an example of extreme realism. The style of formalism shows scenes as they can be imagined. They’re deliberately stylized and / or distorted using methods such as slow motion or adding colors into scenes. Brooks. The episode first aired in February 12, 1996 (Miller, n.d.). The episodes plot begins with one with one the show’s side characters, Krusty the Clown, who has gained a lot of fame or fortune through his profession. However, unfortunate events come down upon Krusty as his miss use of his money through unnecessary spending and bad gambling, he is now in danger of going bankrupt while owing a debt to the mob. In a desperate attempt to replenish his finances, he opens up a clown college in which he would personally teach students of his ways of comedy and entertainment. The show’s main character, Homer Simpson, spots a billboard for the college and becomes one of the first students to go there. In the process, Homer graduates and become the bona-fide “Krusty” of his hometown. As their journey progresses, Theo finds a bullet near the river, which means that they have to cross the river in order to be safe. I will get into my analysis of the actors in da play and how they grabbed my attention. In the beginning of the segment there were two characters, male and female who were sitting on the floor during a cold snowy Friday night; in the middle of winter. Due to the effects that there was white powder that surrounded the area and the actors were shivering and wearing heavy clothing. Throughout the segment, they both wore scarfs, hats and jackets. The actors used the empty spaces as the lines were spoken. Later on in other segments the use of props were of special value. For example in one scene characters used clay making of a shaped cartoon heart to indicate a broken heart. A Glass bottle was used as a beer bottle full of beer although it contained no liquid at all. The use of unseen spaces were very active throughout the play the knocks behind the stage were of somebody knocking on the door and the curtains displayed as a door in almost every scene.
