Sánchez, A., Lago, A., Ferràs, X., & Ribera, J (2011) Innovation Management Practices, Strategic Adaptation, and Business Results: Evidence from the Electronics Industry. Journal of Technology Management & Innovation; 2011, Vol. 6 Issue 2, p14-39. Retrieved from Ebscohost The study in this write up was conducted to carefully evaluate if any; the relationship between bring up new ideas and working guidelines and the benefits to a company down the road. Studies have over time suggested that agencies run under government make efforts to encourage creativity and new ideas in small and medium scale businesses. These agencies do this to strengthen the competitive edge of small and medium scale enterprises. But we must state that at this time, there are no long term results to validate these efforts. The writers used graphic projections to design a business model for these enterprises to follow. The type of companies studied shared a lot in common; like size and positions on the business ladder. The results were sufficient enough to show an increase in revenue but not profits or productivity in these companies.

This article researches into the question: When is open innovation superior to closed innovation?
From some very detailed studies, researchers created an interesting model that shows how accepting a clear approach to new ideas can grow any business. And on the down side, the study also showed that when every executive in a business is not in line with a new

Businesses must continue to change in order to stay relevant with the current times. Typically a business can see trend happening way before it occurs, if the leader is truly innovative and a visionary, they will not sit in the line of fire and get burnt by the flames. They will start with surrounding themselves with the right people and implementing processes, platforms. This allow them to stay abreast of rising trends and situations, so they can proactively develop, implement and test new methodologies to secure their future. Morris, L. Risk and the need to come up with great ideas, and to balance rewards with potential the risks that come when trying to attain them. Speed, the imperative to go fast because the external world isn’t waiting around for you or your organization, and your competitors would be happy to seize your market share and make it their own. Engagement, because it takes the observations, expertise, and insights of many people working effectively together to come up with great ideas, and then transform them into working solutions to problems that your customers really do want to...

Innovative Technology

...Innovative Technology Worksheet John Uribe MGT/411 April 27, 2015 Fernando Bernal Abstract Introducing a new technology requires the participation of each team member, as well as non-staff participants, in this case, online high school students. Technology can improve many areas of an organization, opening the door for better communication, an inductive environment, and more interaction amongst people. For an online high school, it only seems logical to employ an application where students can still have a similar experience as if they were actually there in person. What better way to promote a social environment than a social networking application exclusively for our students where they can go to communicate and collaborate amongst each other if need be. First Things First

...Job Interviews: Illegal and Unethical Question MGT 411 Information Systems For Managers In today’s society people are hired for employment on a daily basis. The interview process is not one to be taken lightly. As an interviewer there is a need to know the basics of communication to potential candidates. Illegal and unethical questions are still an issue in today’s workplace environment. Many students are already interviewing for jobs. A person must know their rights in order to protect oneself in a job interview. In this paper I would like to discuss the personal interview, as well as illegal and unethical questions, which should not be used in the interview process. The personal interview is a logical and necessary part of the process of making hiring decisions. However, it can be filled with unethical and illegal questions. The simple truth about the job interview is that any question that tries to get at an individual’s personal attributes, orientations, or background is illegal. Employers cannot ethically or legally ask you about personal matters. The interview questions must be kept to job requirements and to the qualifications of the applicant for that job. There are specific things that cannot be asked in a job interview. In any situation, making race a factor in the hiring decision process is illegal. However, it is legal for an employer to ask an applicant if he or she is legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time...
