Coca Cola Co. Part II “The Coca-Cola Company is the largest manufacturer, distributor and marketer of nonalcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the world” (Coca Cola Company, 2002). The company is a top brand that is aware of the tasks that makes Coca Cola successful by operating responsibly. Coca Cola’s Business Environment Coca Cola’s Business Environment can be divided into internal and external. Internal business environment most important aspect consists of effectiveness in the product development, in the course of organization skills and valuable communication channels. Coca Cola should perform frequent evaluations of the company and be ready to take action if any issues are found that will affect the company or customer. External business environment can be very influential and have an effect on the company. In the external aspect knowing the SWOT analysis of Coca Cola will be very helpful, because the changes of the company will generate the opportunities and or the threats that Coca Cola officials must be conscious of. Coca Cola’s Financial Health Coca Cola Co. performance is an excellent channel for the future. Shows the history of what the company is all about, but lacks of upcoming tasks. The company’s total return, matched up with competition shows the best returns after the recession. Starting with the income statement of Coca Cola Co., and matching it with Pepsi Co. amazingly both statements show similarity except the last two years, were Coca Cola had an increase of almost a 57% on 2010 from 2009, but then it shows a drop on 2011 of 25%. Now on the other hand, Pepsi Co. kept the increase slow but steady, never dropping drastically, but actually showing increases during the years. George Jenkins opened the first Publix Supermarket in 1930 in Winter Haven, Florida. Shortly after 1945, the company purchased the All American grocery store chain.
