Mika’s actions in the Roar demonstrate how much he loves his sister. One example is, one day on everyone's desk at school was this little pouch called Fitmix. They are mutants, no not like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They were born with some unusual talents, Mika has webbed feet and Ellie has webbed fingers. When they are close together they can feel each other's presence. An example is at the beginning of the book, Ellie escaped Mal Gorman and she was rushing to see Mika and her family. Mal Gorman found out and told his men to find her and bring her back. She was so close to them, then she got shot down by one of his men. Like there was this one section when Ellie crashed into the water when she was coming to see Ellie but Mika was sitting and then all of a sudden he couldn’t breathe and he had to go to the hospital.
