...Dear Robin, I have meticulously scrutinized your dilemma and have developed some discrete strategies to pursuit your victory. Let us first audit and compare your current position with that of the Sherriff. Beginning with the Sheriff, your opponent is growing stronger and accumulating more money by the day. Furthermore Will Scarlett asserts that his men are growing vastly in numbers and are expecting to expeditiously planning an assault. You and your administration, on the other hand, are experiencing a stringency of resources and revenues. The growing band of your army is creating maintenance complications and exceeding the food capacity of the forest. Luckily I have advised an option of two strategies to help ameliorate your position and ultimately overcome the Sherriff. My grandfather once cited: “An enemy of an enemy is a friend.” Having been a very atrocious regiment, the Sheriff and his allies are likely to possess opponents who seek vengeance and justice. You must promptly seek to external forces, and form alliances with bands that possess a mutual interest of usurping the Sheriff. According to my knowledge, your opponent maintains warm ties with Prince John, who is unsurprisingly malicious like the Sheriff. Despite a powerful foe at court he is quite unpopular among the Barons, who demand their previous leader, King Richard, back in throne. King Richard has been wrongly imprisoned in Austria and the Barons are in pursuit of rescuing their king. Your...

Critically Evaluate the Training of Mo Farah and Explain the Physiological Changes That Will Occur. (20)

...Critically Evaluate the Training of Mo Farah and Explain the Physiological Changes that will occur. (20) Mo Farah had to go through tough training to become the athlete he is today. Due to Mo’s type of events, (10,000 and 5,000 metres) he needs a high aerobic capacity and VO2 max. Aerobic capacity is how well the lungs, heart and the blood vessels work together. And VO2 Max is the maximum oxygen consumption attainable during maximal work. VO2 max can only be improved in 10 – 20% of the population, with training. The training that is best suited to improving VO2 max is: Continuous Training which is about running at moderate to high intensity. Athletes who use continuous training will become aerobically fitter and will be able to train at a higher intensity for a longer time. Another type of training that helps improve VO2 max is altitude training. When training at altitude, the amount off red blood cells is reduced and activity allows the body to cope with less oxygen for activity. When back at sea level, red blood cells become more efficient and are able to use oxygen more efficiently for exercise. It is undoubted that Mo Farah has a high VO2 max. Ways to measure this is using the multi-stage fitness test. This is beep that is a set amount of seconds apart and as the levels increase the time between beeps decreases. The higher the level the athlete gets, the higher their VO2 max. People like Mo Farah will most likely beat the multi-stage fitness test due to their...

Pest

...Introduction to PEST Analysis (external environment) PEST analysis is concerned with the environmental influences on a business. The acronym stands for the Political, Economic, Social and Technological issues that could affect the strategic development of a business. Identifying PEST influences is a useful way of summarising the external environment in which a business operates. However, it must be followed up by consideration of how a business should respond to these influences. Political – these factors have a direct impact on the way a business operates. Decisions made by government affect our everyday lives and can come in the form of policy or legislation. The government’s introduction of a statutory minimum wage affects all businesses, as do consumer and health and safety laws and so on. Economical – businesses are affected by these factors nationally and globally. Interest rate policy and fiscal policy will have to be set accordingly. Within the UK the climate of the economy dictates how consumers may behave within society. Whether an economy is in a boom, recession or recovery will also have an effect on consumer confidence and behaviour. An economy that is booming is characterised by certain variables. Unemployment is low, job confidence is high, and because of this confidence spending by consumers is also high. This has an impact on most businesses. Organisations have to be able to keep up with the increased demand if they are to increase...

MO.2006) Procedural History Before the arranged date for this trial, both parties informed the United States District Court and requested to submit their evidence to the Court in writing. This included dispositions from Felix T. Vincenz, the Director of Facility Operations for DMH, and Linda Roebuck, the Deputy Director of DMH. Stipulations from both parties were also submitted. The plaintiffs submitted a memo that was dated on April 6, 2005, from Schuffman to all employees informing them of the random drug testing program and the DMH's protocol for the drug testing. Facts Missouri Department of Mental Health adopted a policy calling for the random drug testing of all of its employees. Three employees objected to the policy and sought a court order declaring it unconstitutional as applied to them. The department claimed that the policy was justified because of its belief that illegal drugs were being used by some department personnel and because each employee serves as a caregiver and role model with respect to patients. The evidence regarding illegal drug use concerned employees at residential facilities for mentally retarded patients. The plaintiffs did not work at these facilities. Administrators were unable to cite specific individuals or...
