...More Than One Reality By: Ethan Caldwell Reality is kind of like a memory. Everyone has their own different ideas of what it should be but none are necessarily the truth. For example two people who were both in the great depression could have totally different thoughts on the difficult times. While one could have lived on the streets struggling every day to find food and water, the other could have been among the few rich people and lived in luxury. Both of them would have very different memories about how times were back then. The same goes for reality. While we all might agree on what is real or not our thoughts on reality could be on different sides of the spectrum. The definition of reality is “the state or quality of having existence or substance.” If something is real to me then that’s my reality and same goes for someone else, so who’s to say that there isn’t more than one reality and why is humanity so interested in reality? I believe that humanity is so interested in reality because we are naturally curious. They say curiosity killed the cat and I believe that saying is very true. We as humans always want our questions answered be it a simple question like two plus two or a complex question like what is reality with no real answer yet. In this paper, the operating principle of DIC composed of two buck PVSC is analyzed. The open loop and closed loop simulation of the proposed converter is carried out and verified. Multi input converters play a key role in such hybridized systems, where it is required to have more than one power source. A multiple input converter is a circuit that accommodates input of more than one energy sources which are of the pulsating voltage source cells (PVSC),and provides at least one output. I am inclined to disagree, particularly with regards to his assertion that ‘higher’ pleasures have such a “superiority of quality”(pp.139), so as to render any quantity of ‘lower’ pleasures “in comparison, of small account”- this non-cardinal view of pleasure raises many discontinuities. This is particularly the case when we take Mill at his word: “actions are right in proportion as they tend to increase happiness… By happiness is intended pleasure and the absence of pain”(pp.137), and view pleasure as the only good. It is the twin beliefs; of pleasure as the only good-making exercise and Mill’s non-cardinal conception of pleasure that form the core of my disagreement with Mill. I will begin by presenting Mill’s arguments for intrinsically more valuable ‘higher’ pleasures and evaluating them. (Johnson 1993) The most common is Trichophyton Rubrum, the same causes “athletes’ foot”. This commonly affects the sole, dorsum, lateral borders and in between toes. If left untreated, the infection can spread to the nail matrix. (Bristow I. 1996) Fungal infections can start by trauma to the toenail which leaves it vulnerable to infection. People who do not maintain a good standard of foot hygiene are predisposed to fungal infections. Failure to dry the feet thoroughly and the use of communal showers can all be causative factors. (Johnson M. 1993) Treatment can be prolonged using topical products, in some cases up to 9 months. More often than not these are ineffective as the treatment cannot penetrate the thickened nail.
