Literature Survey on Job Satisfaction

...LITERATURE SURVEY On Job Satisfaction and Leadership Berikut merupakan survei literatur tentang faktor-faktor yang menentukan kepuasan kerja. Organisations& Behaviour

...ORGANISATIONS& BEHAVIOUR CASE STUDY 1:Dimension of Organisational Structure Changing the rules at BOSCO PLASTICS Case Questions(AO 1.1,1.2 &1.3) * Do you think Jill Thompson’s proposal to decentralise the rules and procedures of Bosco Plastics will work?if so,why and how?Give reasons. What,in your opinion, are the requirements to make decentralisation effective? Organisational structure and organisational culture have a dependent relationship with one another. In the business world management structe determines the behaviours, attitudes, dispositions and ethics that create the work culture. If a company’s organisational structure is strictly hierachical, with decision- making power centralized at the top,the company’s culture will likely reflect a lack of fredoom and autonomy at the lowest levels. If a company’s managment structure is descentralized ,with shared power and authority at all levels, the culture is likely to be more independent, personalized and accountable. For this in my opinion decentralise the rules and procedures of Bosco Plastics will work because every department manager have different aproach with the people in their department and also different ideas of how they can make that department work more efficient. In each business it’s important to be good manager and leader both in the same time, thats why in my opinion it is a very good goal if each department manager knows their people that they work with, and will also make them feel more confident if the department...

There are several methods used in business research that helps executives to focus the energy of developers, production staff and distribution forces. The concept of sales "theory" or marketing "theory" is problematic. This is because these are really subsets of a broader microeconomic approach to the manipulation or creation of demand. The concept of "translating purchasing power into demand" is nothing other than this. Therefore, sales "theory and practice" is an aspect of microeconomics and revolves around the response...

Organisation Behaviour Introduction

...1 LESSON NO. 1 ORGANISATION BEHAVIOUR INTRODUCTION Org. Behaviour (in short called as OB) is concerned with the study of the behaviour and interaction of people in restricted or organised settings. It involves understanding people and predicting their behaviour, and knowledge of the means by which their behaviour is influenced and shaped. Organisations are bodies or entities created for a stated purpose They may consist of one or more people. In the case of a sole trader or single operator, he needs to build relationships with suppliers, contractors, customers, clients, and the community. For those that consist of more than one person, internal as well as external relationships have to be created and maintained. Organisations therefore consist of individuals, groups, and relationships. Objectives, structures, systems and processes are then created to give direction and order to activities and interactions. OB is thus of great concern to anyone who organises, creates, orders, directs, manages, or supervises the activities of others. It is also of concern to those who build relationships between individuals, groups of people, different parts of organisation between different organisation, for all these activities are founded on human interactions. OB is therefore concerned with:1. The purposes for which organisations are created 2. The behaviour of individuals, and an understanding of the pressures and influences that cause them to act and react in particular ways. 3. The qualities...

Keeping Luxury Inaccessible

...Keeping Luxury Inaccessible Keeping Luxury Inaccessible By David Ward (PhD), Claudia Chiari (MBA) All correspondence to Prof. David Ward, Via Fornari 46, 20146 Milan, Italy email: daward@tin.it Co-author: Claudia Chiari, Via Vittorio Alfieri 27, 52100, Arezzo, Italy Abstract This paper sets out to explain and decipher luxury and especially inaccessible luxury with the intent to provide enterprises three new analytical tools to ensure they stay ‘in front of the pack’. The paper starts by assessing what luxury was and is today and how and why it has evolved so far. It looks at Mass and Intermediate luxuries and then discusses three models to assess also Inaccessible luxury. The three models specifically developed by the authors are: 1. The Tangibility of Luxury, 2. The Spectrum of Luxury and 3. Brand Identity of Luxury. It will be shown that a luxury product can indeed migrate towards intermediate and mass luxuries when its traits become tangible and when rarity turns into abundance and luxury becomes accessible. The authors promote the idea that this process can be controlled by the enterprise or industry providing the brand, product traits and distribution are managed accordingly. The authors also examine the particular linkage between rational and emotional value through the brand and map the degree of luxury of a brand by assessing what actually differentiates the luxury products from the rest. This is not done in the traditional way of assessing the marketing mix (4P, 6P...
