...one of my biggest mistakes every day of my life. I graduated in 1988 from Newnan High School with high honors. Fortunately, high school academics were easy for me. It was everything else about high school that I hated. I decided to take a year off before going to college. At least that is what I told my parents. Deep down, I believe I knew that I wouldn’t go. During my senior year I took the SAT and did very well. I sent my scores to several schools. My counselors would get upset with me because I would accept their help to apply for scholarships.
