There is a flute, cello, and piano in this piece. They are all amplified. A xylophone type instrument was also involved in this piece. The players were masks and there is dark blue lighting added. They players were wearing beautiful evening gowns in different shades of blue.

When I first started listening to this piece, I could not believe that these musicians were creating these sounds. The piece sounded like whale calls with Crumb's twist. It was very intriguing. This piece did not elicit many emotions, other than surprise. The detail that Crumb had to put into this piece and it's score is absolutely amazing. I would have never thought whale call could inspire a musician and lead them to creating a piece that resembles whale calls. I really
