Prior to reading all the essay which is unappealing and even make the author angry on account of digression, please remember my name, because ten years after when you search it by google, you would catch the president of JAVAN fashion group, or unluckily, you may just find the owner of an online clothing store – JAVAN. In the following, there is not any word ‘career’ used because it does not meet my dream’ satisfaction. Instead, ‘business’ is the one which will be used for the spirit of my essay.
It is impossible for a student like me has a dream of starting a business. Once I still was a hyperactive little kid, my father had a hope that I would study well, enter an notorious university, study professional in my fields and become an specialist in such fields, which means I strictly gain a good jobs with high salary in the future. My elder brother is now a customer relationship expert of one of the biggest joint stock banks of Vietnam, and he had ever been the second admirable person of my life preceded by my father. The word ‘business’ would have never had chance to emerge in my mind when it was overwhelmed by my father’s ideas till a day when I am stunned by a huge of startup from my friends. Such event likes pouring an ice water bucket into my head and force me to revolutionize my thought.
More surprisingly, the initial step of my business blueprint is establishment of clothing store named JAVAN which is incopporated by both name of mine and my girlfriend the co – founder of our business. When my father heard about the word ‘business’ and ‘my clothing shop’, he was angry and claim that it has no chance of success and it is unaffordable for me to rent a place for a store. This problem will obsess my mind till I met the answer from my friends also my business teachers. We are living in the information era and can, hence, do everything online including business. He recommend me to take a part time job as an online marketer in his store specializing in selling secondhand smartphone online on facebook fanpage and website. What I learn from this experience has totally revolutionized my thought of sale and marketing, we have no longer dragged ourselves on street to distribute the leaflets or widely settled our expensive advertising banner thanks to facebook advertising, SEO and google adwords. I perceive this is my business opportunity. I asked my friends the young entrepreneurs the way they startup. Instead of the quackery and precaution which I imagine in the marketplace, they heartedly share their skill, experience, relationship as they regard me as their comrades. One friend told me that there are always gold surrounding us but in many kinds of presentation even the salty, the duty of the gold digger is to refine the salty and make it valuable. I respect those friends as the first business teacher of my life and any said of them encourage me to make my own dream business possible.
I learn from them that the clothing market ceaselessly develops and never seems to be saturated. I with my girlfriend find our own t – shirt and short jeans suppliers, we sell online those item in order to take advantage of the coming summer. Other people including my families ask me how I have fund to invest in this business. I can not tell them because I have lend the fund from the educational supporting organization with zero interest till I graduate university. Another part is from my partime payment and the remaining from my scholarship after paying my cost of living thanks to my outstanding academic performance. Our first business seems to be relatively successful as the outcome is more than four hundred t – shirt sold in the first summer. In order to expand our business scale, I will hiring some fultime employees for telesales, I am teaching a new one photoshop skill and pay him for taking over this duty. Now I spend time support my friends, who have founded his ThienHa book store, and take the chance of learning how to manage his sale collaborators that is quite effective to boost the revenue. My long term purpose is to popularise my JAVAN store and develop my own fashion brand, therefore I have now registered my brand and website as my intellectual property. When my business grow up till I cannot control all of my fashion shops, I will franchise it and enjoy my life in other business which may be restaurants.
I have a dream of having my own business but it does not mean I do not get a job in the future which help me earning for my living and supporting my business. Owning a business does not mean that we become reach people to quit our jobs, there are many working positions with thousand of dollars in earning which may surpass our income from business. I do business not totally for money, money is essential, but enjoying my life is more. My business will never die even I make retirement .Even if I die it would be my heritage for my next generation, it is not only an asset but also containing the priceless of business education and enjoyment of life.

My Business Management

...My Business Management Some important questions that I as the owner ask are exactly the same issues covered in the mission statement: Who are my customers? Where are they? What do they want? When do they want it? Why should they buy it from me? How do I get it to them? This essay describes my concrete experience of running and managing a construction company. Pricing, for the Construction Company, relates to how well the project is estimated. After the contractor estimates the cost of the project they must add a fair profit. At this point it is important to know your competition and to determine construction “profit margins” for your locale. The better you know your competitors the more competitive you will be. The success of the firm can very well be determined by the skill of the estimator. [pic] In the competitive bidding market the lowest reasonable bid most often get the contract. Promoting is the art of selling and can be accomplished in a number of different ways, such as advertising, brochures, direct mailings, and personal contacts. Your decision on the best way to promote your construction company will depend on the type of contract you are competing for and your market. In the construction business competing for the jobs in your market area is done with bids. The two different types of contracts are public bids, or negotiated bids. For public competitive bids pricing is the primary marketing emphasis, and for negotiated bids contacts are most important. Az űrlap...

Selling My Business

...For many owners of privately held companies, selling their business represents the culmination of years of work and offers the prospect of financial security for life. Our experience has shown, however, that without strategic financial planning prior to the sale, an owner may not realize its full potential. By defining personal objectives and putting a few key strategies in place, an already lucrative transaction can become a golden opportunity—without slowing down the sale process. Bernstein has developed an analytical framework designed to identify the critical alternatives when selling a business. By integrating potential deal terms, key tax- and estate-planning strategies, and the business owner’s financial goals, the owner and his team of advisors can, we believe, most effectively extract maximum value from the deal. While the model is best used on a personalized basis, our research has uncovered some global themes: • The sale of a business often allows the owner’s spending, legacy, and philanthropic goals to be met—but not always, particularly if strategies to meet them are not mapped out at the beginning. The solution is to ensure that sufficient assets will be set aside to address the owner’s top financial priority (often his spending needs), and then work out plans for meeting his other critical needs—all prior to the sale. • Generating the most value from a transaction is not necessarily tied to finding the highest sale price. Often, the maximum benefit...

My Business Ethics

...owning my own business, I would like to have a dessert shop, but I also have an interest in opening a tattoo shop with my brother. When I do open up one of these, or both perhaps, businesses I will take great efforts and do much research to develop a fair and safe list of ethical rules that I will make sure everyone that works for me, including myself, will follow. One of these rules would be to make sure that my employees are treated fairly and that they are given the opportunity to advance. I think that this is an important ethical rule to follow because the production of your business rests in the hands of your employees. They are the ones responsible for making and distributing your products, and in order for them to be motivated to do a good job at their tasks, they need to know that they will be rewarded for their hard work and contributions. Another ethical rule that I would put into play would be to make sure that the product that we are selling is safe and of good quality. This is another important rule that will also help the business. Without happy customers, you do not have a business. It is important to distribute something that will satisfy what they want, and something that will not be dangerous to their health. For instance, if I own a dessert restaurant, and my grocery supplier delivers me ingredients that are poor or contaminated, even if I absolutely needed these ingredients, I would not use them. I would lose more money if a customer became ill from my product...

My Own Business

...Week 7 / Report 2… My Own Business…”Yoga for Anyone” N/A Parkville University Abstract This paper explores the process I took to decide what business to choose and marketing strategies of said business I want to start. I selected one in a fast-growing arena of health improvement; and I will achieve it by offering everything there is to know about Yoga. It addresses several aspects of a marketing plan from how I arrive at this possibility to applying the marketing mix in the Four P’s of product, price, promotion, and place. Finally, I describe a layout over viewing why my website will succeed throughout product life-cycle. My Own Business: “Yoga for Anyone” Deciding upon a business is not something I did not go into lightly or taken on a dare. I gave it much thought, would research heavily through both the use of secondary and primary research marketing methods, and then send through the rigorous trials and tribulations of product and / or service life cycle. Main thing I understood it is not as simple as choosing something I thought in terms of…if I have a passion for it, everyone should share in my passion, and it is the latest and greatest craze; therefore, I must “jump on the bandwagon” and have one as well. Although, both of these ideas have some credence in marketing, because I had to believe in what I did and be marketable, respectively, it is not as glib or easy as the aforementioned old adages imply. I took all of this into consideration when I chose...

...Kimberly Tucker, Chris Salt, Ashley Solomon Case 7: Mattel: Overcoming Marketing and Manufacturing Challenges 11/01/2010 Marketing Management 6800 Section 004 The Problem: The problem surrounding Mattel Inc., one of the world’s largest toy companies, is their mismanagement of international subcontractors and vendors and the production of certain toys (the manufacturing process), as well as their inability to adapt their marketing strategy or product to the constantly changing “demographic and socioeconomic trends” (Ferrell, et. all 466). This is supported by Mattel’s legal battle with Carter Bryant and MGA, their forced recall of certain toys that were manufactured overseas, and the increasing rate at which traditional toys are becoming less appealing to today’s young audience. Essentially, Mattel’s mismanagement and oversight lead to violations in terms of ethical and social responsibilities and safety standards. Issues Relevant to the Problem: Mattel’s problem of mismanagement can be divided into several issues that need to be considered: legal issues, international supply chain issues, and an increase in technology-based toys. In regards to legal issues, Mattel has been involved in prolonged litigation with Carter Bryant and MGA over a breach of an employment contract and copyright infringement. Due to Mattel’s poor management of its overseas manufacturers, in which unauthorized subcontractors and third-party suppliers were hired and unsafe materials used, several...

And this essay is about my short autobiography, which can give you an indication of my personal story. I came into this world on the windy morning of October 15, 1990. I was born in Cua Viet, a small town in Vietnam. I am the 5th child among the 5 children of my parent. I grew up and spent almost my whole life in my country. Now, I am the second year student in Business Accounting- the 2 year program. I have been through many life-changing situations in past 3 years. These situations have had both positive and negative impacts to me. My goals from 5 years ago compare to my current goals are totally different. After finishing 12th grade, I just wanted to become a Mathematics teacher, so I went to Hue University and tried my best to achieve the goal. However, when I was the 2nd year student of the Hue University, I found that I was no longer interested in becoming a teacher. Hence, I dropped the school and wanted to get a better education in Canada and seek opportunities in accounting. Since then, my life has changed. On one hand, starting my new life in a strange country is so hard. When I just came, I faced many difficulties, such as the language, the weather and the life style.
