My Dream Home

My dream home that I design will be all that I imagine and more. It will be a three bedroom,
Ranch-styled, brick home with a three car garage and a massive double front door. Some of the
interior features will include a chef’s kitchen and spa-like on-suites. Outdoors will consist of
meandering pathways through colorful shade gardens that lead up to a flagstone terrace that
overlooks the in-ground swimming pool.
The ultimate chef’s kitchen in my home will have cool black granite countertops lining the
walls, breakfast bar, and island. A double-oven and pasta sink is a must for an Italian inspired
kitchen. An oversized copper sink with the apron showing would be housed around the
breakfast bar for easy access. The warm glow from the pendant lighting surrounding the
kitchen with rich copper undertones sets the perfect mood lighting as I cook delicious creations
with sinful aromas.
Afterwards, I can wash my cares away by visiting one of the spa-like on-suites just off of any
one of the bedrooms. Each one includes a walk-in shower with stunning rainfall showerheads
and travertine tiles. If I prefer a soak, I can slide into a warm bubble bath in one of the copper
claw-foot tubs situated by a picture window overlooking the many gardens. Once my senses
have been renewed, I can wander outdoors to peaceful surroundings.

My Dream Job

...My dream job would be to become a Nurse. I love working with people and helping in any way that I can. Most people get sick when they see blood and bones. I like to learn about the human anatomy. I am very good at dealing with people who are sick. Being in hospitals does not bother me to most people it does. I have an aunt who is a nurse at Baptist; she loves her job and is extremely good at it. That is what inspired me to become a nurse. I also have a lot of cousins that are nurses. Making people healthy is a goal that I as well try to follow by. Everyone should feel good about themselves. Nursing takes a huge commitment; you have to study a lot and also may have to work double shifts. Working is something I enjoy doing, I would not mind working double shifts if I was needed to. Depending on what type of nursing you go to school for depends a lot on the type of studies required for that field. Most nursing you do have to know a lot about the human body as well as math and chemistry. To me you would have to like science, and being around people who are hurt and need your help. Going to school is how I am receiving the requirements for my dream job. Making money is always a huge part of a job, especially in this economy. .I would like to have a job that I love doing and make little money rather than have a job I hate making a lot of money. If I was asked to travel as a traveling nurse I would agree to go anywhere they wanted me to. It would give me a great chance to see the......

My Perfect Dream Vacation: There's No Place Like Home

...My Perfect Dream Vacation: There's No Place Like Home Almost everyone has their own idea of a dream vacation. It's the perfect place to get away from the reality of every day life and the stress that goes along with it, and the choices and ideas of the “perfect vacation” are as varied as the people who dream about them. Some fantasize about lazing on a warm, sunny beach with soft ocean breezes and a cold exotic drink at their side. Some dream of forests and wildlife, cool running streams, and fresh mountain air that is thick with the scent of pine. There are those whose ideas of the perfect dream vacation involves the thrill of stock car racing mixed with the roar of the crowd, the smell of fuel and hot asphalt that's mingled with the smell of hot dogs and fries from the concession stand, and the heart stopping excitement of mishaps on the track. So what is my idea of the perfect dream vacation? It's simple. It's the place where there are no crowds, everything is familiar, the food is prepared to my specific taste, and the bed is my own. For me, there is no place like home. With a little forethought and planning, even home can be turned in to a dream vacation getaway. A leisurely breakfast is the perfect way to start each vacation day. A plate of fresh fruits, fluffy scrambled eggs, toast with butter, and a cup of hot coffee is sure to chase away that sleepy feeling and energize you for the day ahead. Maybe your favorite breakfast includes a...

My Dream

...Mine is a very busy life. I sleep very soundly at night. My sleep is generally undisturbed by dreams but one night, I had a pleasant dream. I dreamt that I had won Rs. 1 crore in a derby lottery. My joy knew no bounds. My parents, too, felt overjoyed. I received numerous telegrams of congratulation from my friends and relatives. For a time, I felt elated. I was mad with joy. I could not decide how to spend the huge amount. I thought over the matter and hit upon a solution. I decided to have a decent bungalow far removed from the din and noise of the city, surrounded by a garden, with rarest flowers and trees in it. This would cost me Rs. 30 lakhs. I would live there comfortably, in the lap of nature and nearer God. I decided to spend Rs. Ten lakhs on a beautiful Rolls Royce, one of the best cars. I would drive it myself. Every morning I would take my parents and family for a long drive along the mall and the canal. This would add to my status and position in society. I would invest Rs. Twenty lakhs, on the establishment of a steel rolling mill. This would provide employment for about 40 souls and give me a monthly income of Rs. 50,000. This would ensure me a comfortable living. I would gradually become a mill-owner. I would donate Rs. 15,000 to the Punjab University as an endowment fund out of which a scholarship of Rs. 25 per mensem would be awarded to a student irrespective of caste or creed, who would stand first in the matric examination, from amongst the......

My Life Long Dream

... teaching degree. My hope is to teach K-5 at any elementary school. I look forward to enhancing the mind of a child. Ashford University will give me the tools to do that. It will also give me the tools to become an effective, creative and energetic teacher. There are some changes I have encountered since starting school. The first one is that I watch almost zero TV. Most of my time when at home or not at work is spent on my schoolwork. I have also noticed I read a lot more than I used to. I think the advantages of having a college degree are numerous. I am willing to make sacrifices for what I want to do. I do not foresee any problems with classes because Ashford provides help for all kinds of obstacles. Some examples are the Ashford Writing Center and their excellent Library. With that said, my life long dream is to be a teacher and with Ashford in my corner, I will....

My Dream

...Reynardo Marks Organizational Behavior Professor Clint Releyea September 10, 2013 “My Dream” My dream is to become a successful Marketing Executive at a Fortune 500 company. Since I was a little boy, I’ve always loved watching creative commercials, not actually knowing why they had the commercials or what they were about, but the creative process behind it intrigued me. I’ve always wanted to know what was the creative process behind them and how they came up with those concepts. My parents have always told me that you can be anything you put your mind to. I’ve always kept that in the back of my mind growing up. Through my experience here at Arkansas State University, I feel that they are giving me all the necessary tools in order for me to reach my fullest potential. Continuing to challenge me in all that I do is going to make me a stronger competitor in the business world. I have taken numerous academic trips throughout my college career in association to some of the honor societies in which I belong to help push me a step further than my peers. Branching out and networking with other people around the world is very important. One must continue to make those connections and possibly be a light to others. In order for me to reach my goal, I must continue to stay steadfast on my journey. I know that the road to success isn’t easy, however, I do feel that I am up for the task at hand. Although I seemed a bit ill prepared for the last exam, I believe,......

My American Dream

... application for a U.S. citizenship. They wouldn’t accept my application because of my educational level and economical situation. But staying in Mexico just wasn’t an option so my family and I took contact to a human smuggling group, which could make the departure possible. You may expect me to tell a story about how dangerous and action-packed the journey towards a better life I the states was but doing so would just be lying to you all. Off course some people do experience a lot of complications during attempts at crossing the border and some people even die trying to flee Mexico. In my case though I had a safe travel with no unexpected problems and the only thing that went wrong was that I got my boots wet after crossing the Rio Grande but that was it. No border police or anything and as you probably have figured out already no police or any other kind of law enforcement ever came for me. New York has become my new home and I love it. The city has everything that my old home had lost. People often talk about something called the American dream and I believe that I’m living the American dream. I’m not a boss in some giant company, I don’t earn millions of dollars every year and I don’t eat on fancy restaurants with the rest of the upper class in New York every night. As I mentioned earlier on I have a standard education so I didn’t ever strive towards a job where a university education was required. Money is important to live but I believe there’s more to life than......

My Dream Travel Destination

...My Dream Travel Destination We not only broaden our horizons but also open our eyes to the world by traveling. And we also can experience different culture through the trip. We will be sure to experience many new things when traveling. My dream travel destination is Australia. It is the largest country in Oceania, and most of its people live in the east of the country by the sea. Because the climate there is warm and comfortable, many people spend vocations there. And there are many tourist attractions. The environment there is very suitable for many kinds of animals and plants. There are many various loveable animals like koalas, kangaroos and a variety of birds in Australia. We can see many animals we have never seen in Taiwan. Kangaroos are very lovely and representative animals of Australia. We could not only see kangaroos but also touch the kangaroo. That would be a memorable experience! “Sydney Opera House” is one of the most famous buildings in the world. The appearance of the building is like a seashell. As the most significant landmark of Sydney even Australia, it is the most photographed place.  Many world-class plays are shown in it. Another famous tourist attraction I want to visit in Australia is “Ayers Rock (Uluru)”. It is a magnificent landscape and be listed in world heritage. The characteristic of the rock is the color changing at different time in a day. The color of the rock becomes scarlet during sunset and daybreak. It is......

My Dream

...When I was a kid, I’ve always appreciated the wonders of science and how it greatly contributes to our society in different aspects. At first, I wanted to be a Dentist like my parents because I saw how great it was to be one however, due to my young mind, it changed throughout time. When I was in Elementary, I wanted to be a Pediatrician because I loved kids back then. However, my affection towards kids vanished and it made me confused on which profession to choose. Now that I’m mature enough to make decisions for myself, I managed to come up with the decision of being a Neurologist. Being a Neurologist might be a difficult job but the reason why I chose it is because studying and treating neurological disorders has always fascinated me. The idea of helping people with neurological disorders has always been the reason on why I want to be a Neurologist. Not the salary, not the benefits that I could get but the idea of helping is what’s keeping me going. Based on observation and research, Neurologist are licensed physicians who specialize in nervous system disorders. They are highly trained physicians who are trained to treat disorders, diseases and impairment to the spinal cord, autonomic nervous system, peripheral nerves, muscles and blood vessels. They are experts at the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders, including stroke, dementia and neuromuscular diseases. As clinicians, neurologists examine patients and may order and interpret diagnostic tests in...

Dream Home

...My Dream House House is a place where we can shelter and it gives us a protection from rain, heat , storm etc. Everyone has their own choice on what type of house they feel comfortable to live, so do I. I enjoy to live in calm and open environment, so house built on small land won't be my choice. I want a large open space surrounded by compound where I can stroll especially when I feel bored on my job. I want the garden in front of my house which will give me natural environment. One more thing to mention here, I want the house which is far from main city and industrial area since I don't like the noisy environment.Oh, yeah, what about the size of the house? I prefer the medium size house having 2 or 3 floors. I don't like very large building because I have small family and I don't like to rent my home. I prefer to stay in second or ground floor during the summer season because the top floor is excessively heated during the very season whereas I like to stay in second or third floor during the winter as ground floor will be excessively cold during that period. Next thing is about gym room, I would like to have a fitness center within my premise as I am a young boy and I want to be a healthy person. I have mentioned so many physical needs in my above paragraph but I would like to conculde my writing saying cool and amicable family environment is must to make our home like a heaven. Otherwise, it will be a hell and we would like to spend most of our time outside the home......

My Dream Car

...My dream car When most people think about their dream car, they fantasize and dream cars such as a Lamborghini, Bugatti, Maybach Exelero, Porsche, Lykan Hypersport, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin One-77, etc. However, some people like to keep it simple. I am one of those people. I do not dream about over the line expensive cars, I dream about a car that fits both my current and future needs as well as what’s best for the planet. My dream car is a Smart fortwo Brabus. This is my dream car because for eight reasons. Those reasons include style, high gas mileage, maneuvers well, the comfortable feeling, easy to clean, I don't have to take someone who I don't want in my car, the storage compartment in the back and technology. I have a car which is named Chevrolet Geo-Metro which was introduced in 1992. It is not a car many teens who be happy to say they own. I have seen many different cars but this car is something different. This car has an engine of 3-Cyl, 1.0 Liter with the 55-79 horsepower and 58-75 lb. of torque. This Geo-Metro has some smooth features in it such as the hard roof, seatbelts that are connected to the windows and its unique shape which gives an edgy look. In addition, the Chevrolet Geo-Metro has manual gears in it. It can catch the speed of 55 mph in a matter of seconds. The fastest car ever right? I know that maybe slow to others. But nowadays there are faster and bigger cars than the Geo-Metro. I have a dream of having a Smart fortwo...
