Week #1 iLab:
Introduction to using OpNet IT Guru 15.0 in the Citrix Environment

* Introduction
IT Guru is a powerful application in which is used to troubleshoot and test many aspects of home and large networks. This lab shows how to use this application properly.

* Problem Statement
We are unsure that the Citrix and OPNET is fully functional, and must test to confirm success.

* Purpose of the Lab
The purpose of the lab is to understand how to use all utilities and parts of the application IT Guru. As this software will be used in future week simulations, the purpose of this lab is to test each of the tutorials to show our understanding of this software.

* Methodology:
Using the simulation software of IT Guru will allow us to investigate multiple aspects of different types of issues and simulations of networks.

* What have you learned from this lab?
Throughout this lab I learned the basics of the simulation software IT Guru. I learned basic troubleshooting methods within this application for different scale networks. I also learned how to test different types of codecs and how to measure traffic within the network.

* Conclusion and Recommendations
The software IT Guru by OPNET appears to be a very powerful application. This is a very useful application in which can be used to test different methodology within troubleshooting and configuring. It allows us to test different areas without the need of purchasing any actual hardware. The tutorials this week gave me a sample of what this software is capable of and how to use
