3. NEWSPAPER READING
Reading the daily newspaper is very important, because the newspaper provides up to date current events both in your own country and around the world. This way, by simply reading the daily newspaper, you will be able to keep up with what’s going on around you. You will be able to know when and where there’s been a big disaster, or if someone declared war on your country you will be able to evacuate because you were noticed earlier than others.
Also, reading the newspaper is one thing, but reading itself is a benefit already. By reading, you are exposed to new words which improves your vocabulary. Nearly everything today revolves around reading, either in the classroom reading a textbook or out in the wild reading a map.
These are just a few reasons as to why reading the newspaper daily is important. It not only gives you knowledge of the world around you but you are also benefited from the reading itself. So, just spending a few minutes a day reading the newspaper may end up saving your life.

4. MY SCHOOL
The school which I am attending is one of the oldest high schools in my city. Its name is Yaly. It is located in a quiet area not far from the city center. It consists of four blocks of buildings, which are surrounded by a large yard of shady tall trees.
In that year, there are 30 classes with more than 1200 students in my school. They study hard and obey the school regulations seriously. The boys must wear shirt, trousers and stuck his shirt into his trousers before going to school. The girls must wear Ao Dai.
Thanks to the teachers' devotion and the students' efforts, my school has achieved good results in every field. The Communist Youth Union of the school also organizes extracurricular activities such as camping, sport and music competitions and community work.
I have studied in this school for 3 years. I love my school very much because it has given me good memories in my heart.

14. MY FAVORITE SUBJECT

The subject I like best in high school is geography. Even from my younger day, I have been longing to know more about other countries and the people who live there.
Geography teaches me not only about my own country but also the neighbouring countries and the world in general. From what I have studied, I have a longing to see London, Paris, New-York and Tokyo. I have heard much about Mount Fujiyama, the snow-capped mountain of Japan. I also want to see Japan during the cherry blossom season. I want to see New-York and its sky-scrapers.
Geography interests me because without visiting these places I learn about them in books. For students like me who are poor and cannot afford to visit these places, the knowledge of geography is all the most useful. It is perhaps the second best means of knowing more about other countries.

Comm 470 Week One Assignment

...Analyzing Messages Comm 470 Analyzing Messages The first e-mail is from Erlene M. Clark, who is an assistant professor for the department of Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design (A&E CAD) at Austin Community College (ACC). The professor was inquiring about a specific course in which the A&E CAD department had articulated with the high school in which the student had attended. She was trying to give the student the appropriate credit in accordance with the articulation agreement between the high school and ACC. The procedure she was trying to do accomplish was to show a credit (CR) on the college transcript and award the appropriate number of credit hours for a specific course as stated in the articulation agreement. She was experiencing problems with the online server for that specific program in which she would enter the student identification number and proceed to award credit to the student. After she tried several trouble-shooting methods that attached to the general use of the program guide, Professor Clark contacted me. My main job description is to work with the program dynamics, work with the professors on the college level, work with the teachers in the local high schools, and make sure that the correct information entered for the appropriate student. I double-checked the system and procedures for entering the information. I also had to make sure that tasks were complete and finalized before the program had closed. The use of e-mail...
