The three positions that I would consider are: CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist – Physician-based), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP).
The CCS-P certification has been my career since I began coding in 2011. I currently meet the eligibility requirement on one or more levels, and feel that this certification would be a bonus to my resume and reinforce that I am qualified Physician Coder.
