My Leadership Characteristics as a Nurse
Working as a director at Carolinas hospital requires several types of leadership skills because of the varying personalities within the work environment. The results from the quiz show that I not only have the characteristics of a well-rounded leader, but my most noticeable characteristic is a creative builder. As a leader, one must have a knack for being innovative and have the ability to accomplish any job that presents itself even with limited resources. The characteristics of being a creative builder displays how I try to be a visionary leader on a day-to-day basis. In leadership, the ability to promote productive and supportive environments can and will impact your business. I have always had the ability to set goals and picture every step that it takes to reach end result of my visions.
My belief is always to work hard and see all of my desires come to pass. Effective leadership originates with the ultimate gift to trust in yourself. It includes a change, opinion, and knowledge that transforms into determination and course. It is this meticulousness conception that gives me the self-confidence to accept the part of teaching motivation, self-respect, and communication. As an aspiring nurse practitioner, it is necessary that I possess key attributes that will assist in the work environment. One must have the respect of his or her staff, a great deal of work integrity, the ability to balance and have the talent to handle conflict. A nurse that has a great deal of integrity is professional and does not have double standards. Balance is a key ingredient to an ever evolving field. Maintaining order and flexibility will create an environment that is both pleasant to both supervises and staff.
