...This week’s programming assignment was really enjoyable. I enjoyed writing code for the basic calculator. In total, I spent approximately three and a half hours working on it. I probably spent more time making adjustments than writing the actual code. Defining the functions was pretty straightforward, so I did not run into any trouble while working on that part. ...We live in a world were having a college education is a must in order to live a comfortable life. Having success while in college and maintaining a high GPA above a certain level is important and beneficial in regards to obtaining scholarships, financial awards or assistance. A high GPA can also open doors to academic honors and internship opportunities and it becomes a little easier to continue your education and getting into grad school. However, I don’t feel that my college GPA can define mine work ethic or anyone else in the work force. Although there are seven learning styles, visual, aural, verbal, physical, logical, social and solitary, a student must follow the education metrics of his or hers college and follow a certain style of learning in order to obtain good grades. In other words a college GPA is measure by how good of a test taker a student is. It does not measure the creativity of a student or if he/she understands the information of a certain topic.
