Most HP laptop I have ever owned in the past all had problems either the screen or charger not working. After several problems with HP laptop I still went ahead and brought Hp laptop expect this time I’m more careful with regular updates and good maintenance. The problem I am critiquing is the restarting problem. There are few problems that I face when restarting the laptop for regular schedule my laptop takes more time to restart than normal sometimes. This frustrates me a lot and I can relate this to Nielsen Heuristic of error prevention. User errors should be tested by designers testing the interface to identify problem areas for typical users and re-designing it to more clearly communicate the consequences of users’ actions. To make matters worse when performing a long restarting point is that it won’t even provide a feedback.
Remote PC app and Nielsen's Heuristic of Error Prevention. The app I am critiquing is Remote pc I use this app to connect to home network using my tablet. The app works by downloading the app on the tablets or smartphone and set the setting on the pc and have a password. It has a cognitive and affective properties which I love and maybe that’s why I keep buying same model over and over. Hp laptop also assess the affective and cognitive properties of attitudes are positive. Its reliability and validity are very clear in other ways this is one of the reason why I pick this device as one of the cognitive and affective properties. My emotional experiences from user’s affective design is positive has it helps me answer simple questions like daily weather report using voice command.
