As a major marketing and graphic design capital, New York is a tactical choice for the new office. The location will house all levels of business decision-making, executive, tactical and operational and with that in mind our key priorities will be mobility, efficiency, communication, security and smooth accessibility of all WAN resource such as storage, sharing, database organization. The second New York office will require both sharing and storage on-the-go capabilities via the same mobile laptop implementation used by other corporate offices and in-office LAN set up to support office desktop devices and peripherals. Another must-have will include security measures for the executive level of management via access authentication for all devices, data encryption for all files and media functionalities for the communication needs of the business. Based on this advantage, low cost and ease to expand and add more devices to it, I find that the mesh topology will best serve the business needs.
