The three food items that I believe are the most problematic in in my diet are fried rice, sushi, and coconut-based curries. First of all, fried rice that has a lot of lipid causes blood fats and cholesterol. In fact, to cook fried rice, chef needs a lot of table oil and monosodium glutamate. Therefore, fired rice is harmful for people’s health because the monosodium glutamate can cause glutamate toxicity and obesity. Second, sushi, which is made by sashimi (raw fish), causes nasty bacteria or parasites (page 268). Sushi is like food that doesn’t cook with high temperature, so sushi is a good place for bacteria or parasites to live in. Third, coconut-based curries are Thai food with over 100 grams of fat. It has a lot of fat for a meal, so it can be influence worse to blood fats in my body. Three food items should be avoid to eat in my diet.
There are two ways that I could increase your fitness through activity or exercise. They are eating a light snack before exercising and drinking plain water while work out. Eating a light snack before exercising can increase a blood sugar levels that don’t cause weakness and slow reaction time (page 338). This way really works for me. I just eat a large meal after I work out, and I just eat some snack or drink a glass of milk to have a power for exercises, because that can affect my health situation. I will feel light and flexible through exercise if I don’t eat a large meal before work out. However, eating after work out will help muscles recover because that contains both protein and carbohydrates. Drinking plain water while work out is very important for me because my body will loss a lot of water after exercise or running. Plain water is sufficient for rehydration. ...Nutrition and Fitness During the past 2 ½ months the physical activity level has been none and eating habits have been anything but nutritional. Having shoulder surgery has put a stop to all activities that caused any discomfort to the shoulder area, per doctor’s guidance. Eating habits was anything that was easy to access out of a bag or anything chocolate. This week I have been given the green light to increase physical activity and the pain is gone upon walking longer distances. This allows more time to go for walks and possible use of the elliptical equipment that is sitting in another room collecting dust.
