As the Director of OGIS, I administer the office's operating budget, manage the human and other resources needed to accomplish OGIS program operations. The office’s annual budget is approximately $1M and the formulation process is somewhat autonomous, at least that has been the case so far in my tenure. However, I am actively involved and engaged with the Executive Services’ Administrative Officer in the overall budget formulation process to clearly identify all training, travel and resource funding requirements.
