Everyone and everything that anyone does in an organization is a process. In an organization if you want to improve what the organization does, you must improve the process in which this organization operates. In the organization if you pay too much attention to what the organization does, and its process you sometimes avoid the typical normal traps that most business leaders seem to fall short of. In most cases business leaders are looking to cut back on costs and trimming payrolls, or pushing the employees to do more with less. This type of short – sided approach may have its short comings when it comes to performance; in the long – run you end up having to increase costs, reduce values to the customer and making it much more complicated for a company to compete with other organizations. Borders process of improvement is a long term approach to improving their organizational performance, with taking much less risks with destroying value when compared to short term approaches. Borders plans to create constancy of purpose so; that our company continuously is improving our process. These will in tale our company to have to define their long and short term problems. Adopt a brand new philosophy of quality management by constant learning, embracing change and focusing more on our customers. Borders plans to invest in great training to keep our people productive and innovative; these new skills will bring improvement therefore; you must fuel this process by empowering our employees to do their best.

If businesses use innovation in such a way that the business can expand and grow can prove to be very profitable.
