Oracle Payroll and Oracle Advanced Benefits

In the phase of rapid technological advances, targeting resource optimization, accuracy and timely execution of processes within an enterprise is seen as a primary objective towards gaining competitive edge in the global market (Kavanagh, et al., p.41). With this goal, human resource serves the crucial role in processing and producing employee-related matters and demands such as payroll and benefits administration in the most accurate and less time-consuming means. This can be achieved by using the Oracle Payroll and Oracle Advanced Benefits.

Even more fitting for these types of companies is the tool’s extensive language selection and connectivity or virtualization. For instance, Managers of different nationalities in a single enterprise can choose their language of preference when using Oracle Payroll and Oracle’s extensive line of products. For companies with multiple country sites, local extensions of the mother Oracle Payroll can be installed in order to facilitate processing, reporting and other payroll needs by locality.

Control points in the Oracle Payroll allow access of the tool only by authorized personnel and with a single storage system, duplication is prevented. The occurrence of errors in past payroll runs can be corrected through the retroactive adjustments function of the Oracle Payroll and in turn will automatically calculate the pay differences and be recorded in the pay history of the employee for future references.
