Implementation of New Digital Audio Workstation - Fl Studio

...Progress report Implementation of new digital audio workstation - FL Studio On October 19, 2007, I proposed an Implementation of new digital audio workstation - FL Studio. After your approval of my project, we have encountered a couple problems but other than that everything is going well and all the work will be done by November 19, 2007. This memo reports the progress report, the problem we have encountered and the conclusions. Background As you know, FL Studio is a digital audio workstation which can record, mix, create, and edit sounds. It has a sequencer that makes it possible to create beats from patterns, which is the foundation of any track. The program currently used by the firm is fairly complicated and hard to use. This results in poor production. By using FL studio, we can create exact tracks which we intend to make. In my research I found that our competition has increased. Other similar companies have also upgraded their software to assist them in meeting their clients’ demands. I however, found out that none of them are using this software. This software is very helpful for our music industry and can give us an upper hand against our competitors. Project Progress 1. What we have researched is our customer satisfaction; we have found a way to compete with other companies and have so far succeeded in our process. 2. With many meetings we have gathered information and have made some changes to FL Studios. 3. We worked as a team to implement the new digital...

How to Make Beats

...background work that goes into most popular songs you listen to in today radio. Well, I’m here to give you the steps that producers/beat makers do to give artists that quality sound, and the tunes you listeners love to hear. From pop to hip-hop all the way to classical music, making beats couldn’t get any simpler. With today’s technology you are just a click away from making your own beat. To start, you’ll need to gather up some items. First you need either a laptop or desktop and it can be either pc or mac. Next you need to decide what DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) to use. A DAW is a digital audio workstation that allows you to record a session on your computer. Here’s a lists of DAW programs (FL Studio, Abelton, Pro Tools, Reasons, Logic Pro and etc.). For beginners, I would suggest using FL Studio and Logic Pro; I believe these 2 our easiest to understand than the other DAW programs. Last but not least have some good quality headphones or speaker monitors. Now when you have all the supplies, you go ahead and install the DAW program. Once the program is install go ahead in open the program to make a new session. Now here’s where the fun begins. For me I make a lot of hip-hop beats, and when I make hip-hop beats the tempo can range between 120 bpm to 140 bpm. And you can also turn on the metronome to keep a steady a pace/rhythm. Next you can either start with your percussion or instruments. For me I start with a melody, that’s usually the main sound you hear in a beat. Then after...

Meeting Destination

...Date: February 1st, 2012 To: Janet Snow, Chief Executive Officer From: , Administrative Assistant Subject: Meeting Destination Our 12th annual Recognition and Training Retreat is quickly approaching and location is still a factor. We have set a date of March 19th- March 24th. I have researched three major cities in the US as potential locations to hold the event. Given the fact that we are located in 25 states I felt it was important to review three cities across the US to give a fair recommendation. I selected the following states: * Los Angeles, CA * Cleveland, OH * Orlando, FL After carefully consideration of all three cities I would like to recommend Orlando Florida as our 2012 training and recognition program destination. To support my decision I factored in climate, location, convenience and cost. Cleveland Ohio is centralized in the US and would be a fair meeting ground in regards to commute. Cleveland also offers some of the most affordable lodging. According to hotelfinder.com the average room cost is approximately 170.00 per night which is within budget. Unfortunately Cleveland did not deliver in the weather department. According to weather.com there is a 70 percent chance of rain and strong winds the day of the event. The potential of inclement weather may create transportation issues which can delay trainings and other events. Based on the unpredictable weather, we must rule out Cleveland Ohio. The next city reviewed was Los Angeles...

But I thought instead of going through the same essays over and over again, you can get to know more about me and what I’d like to do for the future. Sound good? Ok let’s go. First of all my name is Gustavo Arturo Villarroel De La Concha Alvarez. Pretty long isn’t it? Don’t worry you can call me Gus for short. Over the past year when I still a junior in high school I conjured up a multitude of ideas for innovations that could very well alter the way we manufacture vehicles for the future, but first I need to be educated in the field that best suits that subject, Mechanical Engineering. During my junior year, I bought a 2001 6 cylinder Laser Red Ford Mustang. It was a stick shift too, so it was fun to drive on the highway switching in and out of gears and really hear the engine roar. I went with my mother and step father to the Rolex 24 since they worked for BRA Motorsports and went inside the garages for the racers and I was mesmerized by the array of sport horses as well as the components that make them up. I was always a curious soul, I just felt the need to poke my nose into things that fascinated me and I always had the urge to obtain a COMPLETE understanding of them...
