The Death Penalty has been around since the beginning of society. It has evolved from hanging, to electrocution, to a quick and painless death by a cocktail of drugs. The death penalty was and still is reserved for the most heinous crimes a person can commit. The people might be evil, but is their punishment reasonable?
It is reasonable because there are people in the world like Ted Bundy, who kidnapped, raped, and murdered possibly one hundred young women. Are people like Ted Bundy not deserving of the death penalty? Do terrorists like Osama Bin Ladin not deserve the death penalty? I understand that Osama Bin Ladin was not put on trial, but if he was there is a small chance he would be found anything but guilty.
