Though overcoming adversity causes stress, it is beneficial because it creates a stronger individual. Benjamin Yonattan’s favorite thing to do is dance, but it’s very hard for him because he’s blind; but he followed his dream. Another example is Charlotte from the article, “Blind Pole Vaulter,” she didn’t let her adversity get in the way of what she loves to do. She said, “When I lost the rest of my vision, I just thought of it as another chance to overcome something.” In the “Famous Failures” video, Walt Disney was fired for lacking an imagination and having no original ideas.
