• There is a very clear difference in the level of skill and method of the art between Paleolithic and Etruscan age art. For example, The Halls of Bulls cave painting in Lascaux, France used charcoal on stone to depict a relatively simple scene of running animals. Charcoal on stone in the times of the Paleolithic era would only require finding charred wood and transferring it onto the cave wall. The cave painting requires a lower level of artistic skill compared with Etruscan art. Such an example of an Etruscan piece is the Tomb of Triclinium in Italy.
