1. In your own words, explain what possible reason and/or cause could lead a professional singer like Louis Armstrong to forget the lyrics of his song (example Hello Dolly).

There could be a million possible reasons and/or causes that has lead such a professional singer like Louis Armstrong to forget the lyrics of his song “ Hello Dolly”. Well, of course, I don't know what was the real reason but if i had to predict i would say that sometimes even professionals when their under so much stress and pressure and want to perform their best so that they can get known, you can just blackout and forget about everything in his case, he forgot all about the tune and the lyrics. From my own experience when I have to present in front of a crowd and in my mind i knew that if i don’t do this right it may cause me a lot, and under so much stress I sometimes just blackout and my group members have to help out and come up with something on the spot. Thus i feel as though the same thing happened to Louis.

2. Based on your conclusion, has Louis Armstrong lost contact with the lyrical content? Moreover, has he become detached from the music? yes or no. Explain

Armstrong was a great entertainer; people didn't really see him as a good musician s until later. Louis was known for always innovating the jazz form. he always tried to come up with something new and inspiring just because he was a well-rounded person, known from taking part in films, playing trumpet, creating a band making that made peoples live so much brighter does not make him detached from music. How can someone who put so much effort into music be detached from it? Thus i will conclude that i don't think that Louis lost contact with the lyrical content or was detached form the music.

3. Would we have ever heard of Louis Armstrong had he not marred Lillian Hardin? Why or why now?

Well, personally I think that Lillian Hardin played a big part in Louis Armstrong life but I don't think that i should give Lillian all the credit. There was one more person after Lillian who i think was the reason that Louis is known today. Yes, no doubt he had a big talent he brought his new innovative style in everything that he undertook but he need someone to take care of him, someone who would take charge and lead him. Since he didn't really have his parents to support him. Moreover, Lilian was the one who brought the idea of him starting his own band that drastically contributed to his successful career but i feel as though she was the one who helped him get known in his town but his fame wouldn't have latest this far, for us to learn about him sometimes no matter how talented you are you just need someone who is very powerful, very organized and influential person who can help one be spotted amongst a huge crowd.

4. Has Joe Glaser been a positive influence in Louis Armstrong's life, Yes or no? Why?
In my opinion Joe Glaser was a very positive influence in Louis Armstrong’s life. I say this because, he was probably one of the reasons we still learn and know Louis Armstrong. Joe Glaser was a great manager who organized concerts, events, T.v and Radio appearance and even looked after the band. Moreover, Joe got Louis filming jobs, all of these appearance helped him become a legend he is today. Yes he had a magnificent talent but if you don't broadcast it, it will fade away. Thus i can conclude that Glaser was a positive influence even though he was a gangster but his influential contacts helped Louis maintain his status as a very talented unique and professional musician.

...Outline and evaluate one or more explanations of why people obey. One of the main reasons that people obey is the feeling of relinquishing personal responsibility. During the course of Milgram’s experiment, many participants enquired about responsibility; who would be to blame if any harm came to the learner? In many cases, informing the participant that the experimenter was completely responsible was reassurance enough to encourage the participants to continue with the deadly electric shocks. In many cases, where harm has come to someone as a result of obedience, the perpetrators have justified their actions by the lack of responsibility. The participants most likely to obey are those who feel they have relinquished personal responsibility to an authoritative figure, and obedience levels are often diminished when the rate of personal responsibility has increased.
