After watching the videos given, it shows that handling employees can be very difficult day to day causing stressful situations. All employees are different and perform tasks in diverse ways. I noticed that introverts tend to refresh by spending time alone. These people tend to lose energy from being around people for extended periods of time and mainly big crowds. If I had to take care of my employees that were introverts, I would make sure I perform my manners in a correct way. I would teach them new skills in a private setting, give them time and space, and I wouldn’t interrupt them. They have the tendency to think everything through before doing so. Likewise, in the video, it stated that introverts don’t necessarily like to be alone, they just prefer small group of friends. Therefore, extroverts develop energy from other people. In fact, they find their energy is weaker when they spend too much time alone. They revitalize this by being sociable. Extroverts, stated in the video, love to be around large crowds. If I were to handle my employees that were extroverts, I would respect their independence, compliment them, and allow them to explore their ideas and talk about thoughts. Taken as a whole, I would have to change my role when I’m managing introverts and extroverts. While watching the third video about perceivers and judgers, they tend to approach ideas in different aspects as well. Judgers approach life in a structured way by building plans and classifying their ideas to accomplish goals and desired results. Also, they take charge early about completing tasks. They may seem rigid because they want to get the job done quickly and clearly. These are the type of people you would have to manage by allowing time for them to prepare their tasks.
