Personality

Have you ever wonder where people get their personalities from? I know I have always wonder where we get our personality from. Personality is our pattern of thinking, feelings, and our behavior. Our personality shows who we are and why we like the things we do. For example, I have a great personality I always stay positive in everything I do, and I am an outgoing person. Everyone does not have the same personality, there are some people who have a great personality which I don’t mind being around, but there are some people that have a bad personality which most of these types of people are normally negative people. I try to stay away from those people.
There are different types’ perspectives helps us determine our personality, such as psychoanalytic, humanistic, social congestive, and biological. Psychoanalytic perspective is when an unconscious determines our personality, such as our likes and dislike we have deep down inside. I truly dislike snakes so I stay as far away from as possible this is an example of psychoanalytic perspective. In the humanistic perspective it’s when our personality is influenced by an innate capacity for personal growth. For instance, my friend Sandy told me the other day she is always board and feels like she has no life. I try to encourage her to the gym, shopping or for us to start doing crafts as a hobby, so she could get out and feel better about herself. According to Social cognitive perspective our personality is not just our history of reinforcements and punishments; it’s based on the interplay among traits, thoughts, and the environment. For example, I am about to get ready to go on a blind date. Not only do I worry about the impression I am going to make, and the signals that I am sending to the other person,

Curiosity brings good questions that can cause you to search answers and when people are looking for answers they are more likely to retain the information. People who score lower on the openness to experience scale are more likely to be concerned with grades. They are more likely to just work hard for the sake of hard work. Conscientious individuals achieve high levels of success through purposeful planning. They are also known by others to be responsible and reliable. They can become perfectionists and workaholics. This hub briefly discusses some of the hats worn by American President Barack Obama over the past four years. Mostly the article focuses on three broad leadership styles including transformational-charismatic, cross-cultural, and contingency-situational leadership. Recently, I added the opinion polls to allow you to rate how you think President Obama has faired in these areas and overall. Please feel free to participate. Transformational-charismatic Before the election, President Barack Obama attracted the attention of American's and foreigners alike with a seemingly charismatic nature. A charismatic leader has an uncanny ability to draw others to his side and move them to accomplish a cause bigger than themselves. A charismatic approach is transformational if it invokes a permanent change in the people who embrace the leader's vision. During his first term, President Obama wooed at least some to his vision by showing the potential to make a huge difference in both domestic and foreign affairs Cross-Cultural-Global Leadership Under the Bush Administration, America's image lost much of its shine.
