Personal Statement: Reilly Hall Involvement

My present hall involvement takes the form of being a Reilly Hall Association officer. While I am a current member of Reilly Hall Association, I also hold a position as the advertiser for events run by ReHA (Reilly Hall Association), and am in charge of advertising for hall meetings. This past month, I was also in charge of designing and coordinating the construction of Reilly Hall’s homecoming float. In addition to these responsibilities, Reilly Hall Association has held two official events as of this date, one being the 47th Annual Grilled Cheese Event- where I and other members of ReHA worked together to cook a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches for Reilly residents. I also helped orchestrate the most recent hall event with a few other members of ReHA which was a Halloween event in combination with another RA’s program: Mocktails and Cattails (which educated students on alcohol consumption) whilst playing Halloween movies and providing popcorn and a variety of candy for residents. …show more content…
Joining lead me to the discovery that shyness can be altered into bold confidence with the decision to take a risk. I also learned that similarly, confidence can come in forms of kindness and genuine joy- each to be spread among others. I was introduced to the organization through my RA, Kellen, and found that there were positions to be ran for.
