1. What your vision is for the PETC?

My vision for the PETC is for us to provide crisis services for those that are in need. I believe that we should run like an emergency room for psychiatric patients. An admissions department or triage team would provide immediate care upon arrival.

Ideally the triage team should consitst of a Nurse , QMHP, and Tech. The triage team would be reponsible for assessing risk , determining the most appropriate level of care and placement. If admitted to the PETC the admission team would be responsible for fully signing the person in, completing all of the necessary admission assessments, secretarial tasks (chart completion, ID band, securing inventory), and escorting the patient directly to the
