Up for sale is a Motorola Atrix 4G Android mobile phone. This phone has been worked on professionally without removing the protective stickers on the screen and battery cover or opening anything of the accessories that came with it new in the box. It's originally an AT&T phone but has been unlocked to work on any GSM network worldwide. There are manufacturer-unlocked Motorola Atrix 4G phones out there but the support for them isn't as big as the ever first model, the AT&T Atrix 4G, the one in this listing. Some of the hacks and modifications I made to this phone would not have been possible on other Atrix versions or may cause stability problems. Simply, this is the best Atrix 4G ever! :)

--
Note: The device is unlocked officially, It will always work with any SIM anywhere in the world even if you format it completely in the future.

Overview of features:
-Dual-core 1Ghz CPU with nVidia Geforce 3D accelerator.
-qHD high-resolution display @ 960x540.

-5Mbps rear camera (also has front camera for video calls. This phone is supported for video calls in Skype).
-4G Capable (some people think iPhone4 support 4G, it does not!), A lot of networks already upgraded to 4G now. The 4G speeds give the phone a feel like it's on wireless connection while it's on network data, very fast!

After this phone has been hacked/worked on, it has the following features which are not present in any new out-of-box Atrix 4G, even after updating it.
-Unlocked bootloader (allowed a lot of the features below + can install unofficial ROMS)

Greate New Smartphone

...has been reserved for devices that were mid-range at best, or entry-level at worst. Ever since the gorgeous and powerful Nexus 4 came out last year for $300 on the Play Store, however, it's been clear Google is trying to give the high-end, $600-plus Android flagships a run for their money. Now the company's back with the Nexus 5, a power user's dream that sells for $350 and features some of the same specs you'd expect to see in a top-shelf device. That is, if you can even get your hands on one. The device sold out in less than two hours, and new orders won't get fulfilled for at least a few weeks. But what's so intriguing about the Nexus 5 that it's causing such a ruckus on the Play Store? It's a $350 flagship phone with the serenity of a pure Android experience and all the trimmings, that's what. The question is, can you survive the estimated three to five week waiting time? The Nexus 4 swept us off of our feet when it arrived last year. And for good reason: It was an aggressively priced smartphone with an elegant design and specs that were, at the time, quite high-end specs. It delivered great performance, a beautiful display and the best of what Android 4.2 had to offer, but it also had a few shortcomings, including subpar battery life and no LTE. Also, it only launched in black, with a white version not arriving until mid-2013. Moreover, its baseline model was quite limited in storage capacity. For all of its perks, there was still plenty of room for improvement. Fortunately...

...you'll be buying a thick, heavy case. There just aren't that many truly rugged phones around these days, and the few that do take a beating don't have all the smarts. Bridging these worlds is the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. Its stronger physical design and same best-in-class specs as the Galaxy S5 make it a brawnier-than-average smartphone to pocket. Still, without a truly rugged construction or deep sports modes, you'd be better off thinking of it as a hulkier Galaxy S5, than as a truly impervious handset made just for hardbodies. And that's mostly OK. Samsung never claims that the Active is a durable device, and the fact that the company doesn't skimp on the phone's software and hardware fixin's speaks volumes. Samsung hopes that outdoorsy types will gravitate to the heart-rate monitor, physical navigation buttons, and to the convenience key that pulls up a compass, flashlight, and the camera, but really, these benefit anyone. Like the original S5, this Active can withstand short dips in water, shocks, and dusty landscapes. As a phone, the S5 Active's flaws are relatively minor oversights, like a design that's more slippery than grippy, and the missed opportunity to highlight camera modes for action and landscapes. Instead, Samsung keeps it all mainstream. If you're seeking a high-end smartphone with an edgier look that doesn't need a separate protective case, get the Active. Otherwise, get the phone you want and find a case that fits your rough-and-tumble...

...Apple, Nokia, and Sony), because the smart phone industry has many competitors that are equally balanced, and thus rivalry is high. The market for smart phones has slowed in growth since its boom, so pressure to take customers from competitors is also high. While Samsung has been doing great keeping up with the industry and even leading in some areas, everything is short-lived due to the extreme level of competition, since all of these firms are well established and powerful enough to pose a serious threat to one another. The threat of potential new entrants (Low)  The threat of potential new entrants to Samsung’s industry is extremely low. The technology market is controlled by a few very large companies. Breaking into that market very difficult, a considerable amount of capital is required to enter into the mobile industry. New entrants would have issues with overcoming patent issues if they didn’t plan on investing in their own research and development to create a unique product. The costs of accomplishing these things make a very strong barrier to entry. Even then, overcoming issues such as customer loyalty and switching costs would be another large barrier to entry and even if they were to successfully break into the market, they would likely be acquired quickly by one of the existing companies. The threat of substitutes (High) For Samsung, almost any phone that performs the same functions as a Samsung phone could be considered a substitute, because...

...vegetables, and fruit to Manchuria and Beijing. (Samsung) Just after a little more than a decade, it owned flour mills and confectionery machines and began its own manufacturing and sales operations. During the 1970s, Samsung (for the first time) began exporting electronic products, and in 1978, Samsung Semiconductor and Samsung Electronics became separate entities. Soon after in the 1980s, they increased their focus on technology and this had led to the creation of the company’s 2 research and development (R&D) institutes. My Duck

...My dick is so huge that: With the shared unveiling of Nokia's Lumia 720 and Lumia 520, the company's running flush of Windows Phone 8 models was complete. All WP8 handsets we've reviewed essentially fit into two distinct tiers based on shared core specs. That begs the question: why come out with two new models now when both share the same SoC, amount of RAM and screen resolution as the established Lumia 620 and HTC 8S? Obviously, there are differences in design, cameras, display tech and all the other bobs and bits that create the 720, but is it worth the significant markup over the 620, and more than double the price of a 520 or Huawei Ascend W1? Enough with all the rhetorical questions -- join us after the break as we find out exactly what the Lumia 720 has to offer. (Please view the full site to see this gallery.) We've taken quite a liking to the design philosophy Nokia has carried through its Windows Phone 8 range to date, and the 720 is further proof the company has a good eye. A simple, clean rectangle, the handset measures 127.9 x 67.5 x 9mm (5.04 x 2.65 x 0.35 inches), making it one the thinnest WP8 offerings. It shares obvious traits with HTC's 8X and Huawei's Ascend W1, which have the same sharp angles that feel like a tangible manifestation of Microsoft's Live Tile UI. While its hard lines give the 720 an air of sophistication, Nokia hasn't forgotten to add that playful Lumia flair. The round edges of the device balloon ever so slightly from the single piece...

3g Historically

...Historically, The cell phone evolution has occured, since 1945, in technical leaps which we call generations. 0G was the invention of the mobile telephone without networks, where callers had to connect to a base station and operator. In 1979 and 80, 1G came out, where the cellular radios (as we engineers called them) were first connected to networks of stations (called cells). The 2G networks were the first ones where consumers became aware of new capabilities and started buying the technology heavily. This was during the late 90s and into the early 2000s. These were the first phones with the PHS, CDMA, GSM, mail, Cameras, and other options. 3G is the network expansion which allowed direct internet connections, Wideband data access, simultaneous voice, data, music, and telephone, plus network based apps all rolled into one. 3G is the network which allows you to use the cell phone as a credit card. 4G is a network in the planning stages, although some companies say they are implementing parts of the 4G net now. 4G includes a network specification (engineer talk for basic requirement), for 100 megabit to 1 gigabit data transfer rates while highly mobile worldwide. It also includes high quality of service requirements for multimedia support (real time audio, high speed data, HDTV video content, mobile TV, etc). 4G is coming, but is not here yet, because the specs are still being worked over at the ITU (Intenational Telecom Union) in Geneva.  A 3G/4G network is one...

3g vs 4g Technology

...The cell phone has become one of the most popular trends in modern day electronics. There are various carriers that offer cell phone service across the United States with a wide selection of different phones. Today smartphones seem to be the most widely used by the American population. The smartphones of today are like mini hand held computers, possessing the capability to perform many different functions. When it comes to cell phones there are two major networks available, 3G and 4G. The "G" stands for a generation of mobile technology, installed in phones and on cellular networks. Each "G" generally requires you to get a new phone, and for networks to make expensive upgrades. The first two were analog cell phones (1G) and digital phones (2G).(Segan, 2013) Third-generation mobile networks, or 3G, came to the U.S. in 2003. With minimum consistent Internet speeds of 144Kbps, 3G was supposed to bring "mobile broadband." There are now so many varieties of 3G that a 3G connection can get you Internet speeds anywhere from 400Kbps to more than ten times that. (Segan, 2013) While most of us are used to getting high speed Internet connections at home, the office or even the local coffee shop, once we are on the road those high speeds have to stay behind. With 4G the promise is that you can get real mobile broadband to go. (Vilches, 2010) There are two fundamental aspects of LTE. The first is that the technology finally leaves behind the circuit switched network of its GSM roots and...

Added 19th May 2014 By Michael Kan SPECIAL-REPORT-Why-Are-Xiaomi-Phones-So-Inexpensive_300x225.jpg Chinese smartphone vendor Xiaomi has made a name for itself by selling iPhone-like gear for almost a third of the price of Apple products. It may sound too good to be true, but the company is managing to sell millions of phones and is already kicking off a global expansion. So how does it pull it off? For one thing, Xiaomi claims to price its phones just above their costs. But company officials also point to its iconoclastic business model, which eschews the financial burden of using traditional marketing and distribution practices, and relies on the Internet to fuel sales. It's made Xiaomi into a company that doesn't operate like a typical smartphone vendor, but still successful enough to become one of China's hottest tech firms. Disrupting the market When Xiaomi unveiled its first flagship Mi 1 phone in August 2011, attention was fixated on the device's price. Consumers could buy what was then a cutting-edge smartphone for 1,999 yuan (US$324). This was a major bargain compared to other high-end phones including the iPhone 4, which started at 4,999 yuan. Xiaomi maintained the initial 1,999 yuan price for the flagship phone. But the company also released its Hongmi line of products, which are lower-spec phones, at even lower prices, starting...

Growth of Micromax

...Micromax Informatics Ltd. on 29 March 2000. It started selling mobile telephones in 2008, focusing on low pricing to compete with international brands. Micromax's co-founder Rahul Sharma once saw a public call office being powered by a truck battery because of frequent power cuts in its locale. It prompted him to launch a feature telephone with an extended battery life. Micromax launched X1i, its first telephone with a month-long battery back-up. In 2014, Micromax's sales exceeded those of Samsung to become the mobile telephone manufacturer shipping the most telephones in one quarter in India. On 24 January 2014, Micromax became the first Indian mobile company to start sales in Russia. The Achievement Traditionally, the dominant mobile phone companies in India have been foreign giants—be it Nokia Oyj, Samsung Electronics Co., BlackBerry Ltd or Sony Corp. But through sustained marketing efforts and the introduction of products at lower price points but with the same specifications and contemporary design that their global counterparts offer, Indian handset makers have been steadily gaining market share. The forerunner among them is Micromax Informatics Ltd, which according to latest International Data Corp. (IDC) data had a 22% share of the Indian mobile handset market, second only to Samsung, which had a 26% share, and much ahead of other foreign competitors like Nokia, Sony and BlackBerry. The Strategy: A large part of Micromax’s growth is attributable to its significant...
