...Devil’s playground Devil’s playground is one of the most explicit documentary films I ever seem about the Amish community, this film is about the experiences of several Amish youths deciding whether to remain in or leave their community and faith. According to Devils Playground at the age of 16 , Amish youth are allowed to depart from many of the Amish rules. They called this period “ rumspinga” ,this is when they experience partying , drinking , illegal drugs end etc. For me it’s really shocking because not even in our community young people are allow to many of this things , for example , in our community you’re not allow to buy an alcoholic drink until the age of twenty one. Well I understand everybody have different believes and rules. Some teens in the film said that they will eventually become baptized as adults in the Amish Community. Some of them are scared of that because if they get baptized and then they leave church they could be rejected by family and friends that’s why many of them don’t do it right away. I think is really sad the way they live, even though many of the young people have cars and wear modern clothes also many of them experiment with drugs like one Amish boy, who turns to drug dealing. ...The ‘Assumed System’ – The analysis of the problem has been carried out for the network wherein the neutral is earthed at distribution transformer end and along the distribution system (at LT feeder pillars A, B as shown below). It is connected to earth at two separate and distinct points. The neutral of a main-line cable is earthed at both ends via LT feeder pillars (A & B), while neutral of a service cable is earthed at one end (via LT feeder pillar B) and not at meter cabin end with due consideration of safety issues. Earthing of neutral (which is normally a current carrying part) and consumer earth wire (which is normally a non-current carrying part) may get electrically connected due to space constraints at consumer end. In real life, due to lack of inspection and poor maintenance, the earthing may get open and likely to remain unnoticed. In case of a phase to neutral cable fault, there is a likelihood of the consumer earthing and thereby consumer house-hold equipments get charged to a voltage unsafe to human life. Politicians have a way or skewing the truth and making in look better than it is, or that their ideals and motives are to help the people. With all the media out there I have learned we all need to dig a little deeper into the issue and find a common ground. Being fair and honest is critically important to the out come of any situation and especially in politics. I visited some websites like Drudge Report and Daily Kos and what I found was not surprising. There was so much negative information on politicians. ...Being an Effective Helper Some people are limited in their social interaction; this may be a result of how they were brought up by their parents. Maybe they were home schooled or sheltered as a child. Maybe they were simply not allowed to interact with anyone outside of their family unit. Not every person is capable of learning the same way. As an instructor, you have to be aware of this fact and be able to recognize a person’s inability to learn a certain way and to help provide guidance in the correct direction, a path that will allow them to find their own way of learning the specific task sought after. Personally, there are multiple situations or client personalities that I feel that I would have difficulties in helping. The majority of them come from previous encounters with those types of situations or types of personalities. I know that for myself to improve as an instructor and a helper that I must find a way to see beyond these prejudices that I hold. It can be difficult to get past a certain distaste, as a small child my parent’s forced me to eat Brussels sprouts, and to this day they absolutely disgust me. I have tried to eat them on numerous occasions and I am not sure if it will ever happen. The first example that comes to mind is dealing with stubborn and difficult people.
